My hubbie and I stayed for two nights and we loved the activities! The location was amazing . We rented bikes and did the sea wall which was stunning and really fun . Our room was bright , cool , clean and the bed was lovely . A musty smell on arrival (body odor ) was dealt with quickly by...

I travel to Vancouver regularly and stay downtown as close to Coal Harbour as I can because its so beautiful and because the offices I visit are located in the downtown core. I highly recommend the Pan Pacific Hotel for business or personal travel. The rooms are large, well appointed and clean. The two restaurants are excellent and best of...

I spent 5 days at the Pan Pacific 2 weeks ago and absolutely loved it. The Harbor views are some of the best in the city and the location makes it easy for both tourists and business people alike. The location is over the previous Convention Center, and right on top of the harbor. You can book a harbor view,...

Short business trip but comfort and elegance made it great! The hotel is located on the water front so very pleasant to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Good restaurants downtown. A few steps away from the train to YVR Vancouver airport.

Couldn't ask for an easier, better place to stay for a night before a cruise. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. The bell staff was quick and efficient. The room was full of plushy comfort and the rain shower felt so good after a long flight. My husband, son and his girlfriend stayed in a Bayshore suite and it...

This hotel is amazing. It's right at the pier where the cruise ships dock. We stayed before and after our cruise. We flew in from California and they had us in our room before noon. It was a beautiful sea view. We ate at Cafe Pacificia and the food was great. When we wanted to go offsite the concierge had...

This is probably my all-time favourite hotel. It's a fabulous hotel in a fabulous setting with cruise liners tying up literally outside the hotel window. The food is good, the service is great and it is right next to the city centre and handy for Stanley Park, connections to North Vancouver and all the other local attractions. When in Vancouver,...

Great location over looking the harbor, but the cruise ships park out back and they blow their horn at 7am. We are in a beautiful room overlooking both the pool and the water, with a SUPER cozy bed. However, people are in the pool until late at night screaming and shouting. I think they give cruise ship people day passes...

Thank you for taking the time to post your review on your recent stay. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay but do regret that you found the noise from the pool deck and cruise ships disturbing. Many cruise ship passengers find our location and complimentary luggage transfer service very convenient for their pre and post visits to Vancouver....

Room was spotless, quite and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was hot, fresh and tasty. Hotel is very convenient to most shopping and site seeing. I walked every where. Took a cab to and from the hotel to the airport and is was very reasonable at $45 each way and no more than 30 mins in traffic. I was in Vancouver on...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
