Room very nice and comfortable bed. Fantastic views. Snacks and water in the room are charged for. Breakfast buffet was nothing special and the hot buffet was NOT hot, it was barely luke warm. Nice hotel but have stayed in better for a lot less money! Disappointing.

We had a great stay at the hotel. But I was really surprised to find that a hotel with an environmental manifesto still uses old filament bulbs in all its light fittings! As someone who works in commercial energy efficiency this drove me a little crazy! Get with the times Pan! LED prices have dropped so much that the payback...

Our gorgeous room was on the 22nd floor and the view was stunning! The use of the exclusive lounge on the 23rd floor was an added bonus and the complimentary snacks and breakfast were of a very high standard. We dined at the Five Sails Restaurant which was outstanding! Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous harbor views from our room, helpful concierge, walkable to almost everything we wanted to see. Sunday brunch only ok for the price; should have had salad items and dessert. It's a Convention hotel so it will never be five stars, but great. Delivery of our bags to the cruise ship so handy.

My husband made a reservation at the Pan Pacific so we could spend the night of our 25th wedding anniversary downtown. In making the reservation, my husband had indicated we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. When we arrived to check in, the clerk told us she had a nice surprise for us. They had upgraded our just plain room...

Excellent stay with great service. Buffet breakfast one of the better ones you will find. Valet service well worth it and the Suites were extremely well appointed. Pool and hot tub very nice with extended hours for those arriving later

We stayed here pre-cruise with our family. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable for family of 4. The service was extremely pleasant and helpful. We ate breakfast at the hotel with views overlooking the harbor, and the buffet was impressive. There is certainly no beating this location if you are cruising. The luggage service certainly made our cruise check-in...

We arrived at Vancouver International Airport in the afternoon and took the Skytrain from the airport to the hotel - only a 20-minute journey, i.e. much faster and cheaper than a taxi. The Waterfront station is just opposite the hotel, but we did not receive an overly friendly welcome from the doorman, possibly because we arrived on foot. We were...

The views are absolutely stunning and you can see sea planes taking off and landing. The views are especially cool at night where you can see the whole city light up! There are food shops near the hotel and bicycle stores near too. The hotel serves complementary breakfast. There is a lovely pool and jacuzzi.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
