One of the best rooms we have ever stayed in! Didn't actually book this hotel but due to a double booking Trail Finders found us this absolute beauty. We had a luxurious bay front room with awesome views and bedding to die for. Hotel staff were fantastic as was the bar and restaurant areas. Excellent breakfast and a lovely pint...

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is in the downtown area next to the convention center with several restaurants in walking distance. It is located right on the pier, so you can easily walk around the bay and into Stanley Park.

We stayed here for a couple of nights before a cruise recently. In our experience we had good service, great breakfast and a very comfortable time. Our room overlooked the cruise terminal, which was excellent to watch our ship's arrival. It was also handy to go straight down to the terminal building and our baggage was delivered for us. There's...

Have stayed three times and it is wonderful. If you don't have a water view room then you must upgrade. The best part was the breakfast looking over Stanley Park and the North shore. Another can't miss is the Opera buffet on Saturday evenings in the Cafe Pacifica. All hotel staff are friendly and courteous. The only reason I will...

In the heart of downtown Vancouver Island and near to almost all of the attractions, you can see Stanley Park from the hotel, and breakfast in all most any restaurant in the hotel overlooking the harbor/docks where the cruise ship come in. Outside you can walk along the boardwalk or walk around the city and the view is amazing! I...

There is flawless service from valet to check in and particularly room service. Just wonderful, professional, courteous, helpful people. The deluxe harbor view room King, is tiny, the view spectacular. Sound insulation is horrible. I don't mean the noise from the harbor, the noise from sea planes taking off below....that is part of the atmosphere of this great harbor city,...

Keeping in mind that ours was a complimentary stay, this hotel was amazing and we had a great time. I was trying to understand how the room rates were reflected in the quality of the room we stayed in, and I came to the conclusion that what you are paying for is the perfect location. You are riding the fastest...

What ever you need on your visit is in this hotel. First class service. First class rooms. Near all of transportation you will need. In walking distance in down town Vancouver. The rooms have spectacular views located on the docks from where the cruise ships are.

We stayed at the Pan Pacific for the week-end and had a good time, no major complaints, but I would not stay there again: - the atmosphere is a little cold when you enter the lobby - the bathrooms feel very dated - the neighbourhood is not the most fun at night in Vancouver However, if you are attending a...

The hotel was overpriced, ridiculously overpriced. The carpets were filthy, terribly filthy. The bedsheets made me itch. I woke up with a rash of some sorts, kind of scary to say your staying in a supposedly 5 star resort.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
