We stayed 2 nights pre cruise. Lovely welcome by the reception staff and we were accommodated with an early check in. Bed was comfortable and the room clean and good size for our needs. Sounds silly to some but hotel hair dryers are not noted for being the best but the one provided by Pan Pacific was really good quality....

My wife and I stayed at the Pan Pacific on a recent business / pleasure trip to Vancouver. While rates in the area were out of this world due to the U2 concert, a corporate rate made this stay almost palatable from a financial perspective. I'm so glad this was the hotel that worked out! A terrific choice - super...

This is a top notch hotel. I got a room with a harbor/mountain view and it was really beautiful. The rooms are well appointed. Room Service was good (although it took about 45 minutes) and the staff was very helpful

Perfect place to stay if cruising from the terminal to Alaska....was sensational hotel. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, great views of the harbour and terminal for cruise ships. Food was amazing in the Harbourside bar and the casual breakfast restaurant. I loved it, would highly recommend to go here again if ever over there. About a $30 taxi ride from airport....

Amazing location, outstanding service and experience. Stayed here two years ago with the whole family, a total of 12 of us travelling together and the hotel over Canada day weekend, everything was going on right outside our doors, including fireworks we could view from the rooftop pool and restaurant. Views of the cruise ships coming and going were priceless, not...

Beautiful hotel located right on the harbor where the cruise ships dock. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The guest rooms were posh, clean, and very comfortable. We only stayed two nights after our cruise to do a quick tour around Vancouver and Victoria but wished we had stayed longer. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've...

Outstanding location with awesome views of the bay from the rooms and restaurants. However there is no effort from the staff to make you feel at home. Perhaps except the personnel at the restaurants who did a great job all the time.

Spent several days in Vancouver for a destination wedding. Stayed at the Pan Pacific. The hotel very well kept. The restaurant floor has an outside pool adjacent to very large garden terrace. The hotel is located on the water facing the north shore. The hotel is located at the base of the city port/pier. During the stay several cruise ships...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
