Firstly this hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Vancouver, being right in Canada Place. The rooms are an ok size, but dont come with free wifi. Whats frustrating is you go down to the conference center (first two levels of the hotel) and theres free wifi, but for the cost of this hotel I expect it in the... More

We visited the Pan Pacific from November 26 - Dec 1, 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and its incredible view of the harbor and surrounding mountains. We also spent time on private tours with Erick from Guia Vancouver Tours for two days booked through Viator. First though, the Pan Pacific was an incredible stay. The view from our suite... More

Great place to stay while in town, recommend a room with a harbour view. We got lucky by getting a suite which costs more, however this was our "Stay Vacation". Staff were first class from reception to housekeeping / dining room including the doorman. This hotel is nicely located to transit and many great restaurants or just a quick stoll... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Attentive and professional staff, spacious rooms, great view of seaplanes taking off and landing as well as Lions Gate Bridge. Lovely rosemary mint bath amenities. Location convenient to transit or walking downtown. Highly recommend.

A spectacular property offering some of the best views in the city. Helpful and approachable staff made our short stay everything we expected from this terrific hotel. Even though we didn't have the chance to sample some of the dining options, the menus looked quite interesting.

We were in Vancouver for a conference and the Pan Pacific had been reserved as the conference hotel. As it is connected to the conference centre the location couldn't have been better; it's also a great location for walking around downtown Vancouver or for taking the rapid transit Skytrain to other areas of interest. Our room was clean and comfortable,... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
