Stayed at the Coast Coal hotel, the location is perfect. Walking to harbor front, Convention center and plenty of restaurants and bars. The hotel has a small gym, perfect for a quick workout on the road. A "businessy" feel to it. But the room was spacious and bed was comfortable.

This was my first time to visit this hotel. IT was clean and the staff very helpful. The location of the hotel was great too and close to Stanley Park and many other attractions I wanted to see. The rooms were big and the bed was AMAZING! I can have everything else go wrong but the bed must be comfortable...

I had a conference in Vancouver and this was one of the conference hotels. While it was a few blocks from the convention center, it was a few blocks from a major "eating thoroughfare". A courteous check in lead us to a corner room on the 17th floor where we had wonderful views of the cruise ships and float planes...

The view from our window was awesome and the room itself was pleasant although not out standing. What was outstanding was the service at the hotel. Everyone from the front desk to reception to the concierge went out of their way to assist us. Made our stay great

Stayed at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel for one night before a cruise. It was one of the lower priced hotels near the Canada Place cruise port ( but still relatively expensive). The hotel is a high rise with large windows and has great views. Very clean and comfortable, but the furnishings are somewhat stark and cold - I guess...

Was lucky enough to be sent to Vancouver for a work related conference and we were put up in this hotel due to the close location to the convention centre. It's maybe 3 mins from the waterfront and the location is perfect for getting around anywhere really. Stayed in a Comfort Room King and it was perfect. Immaculate presentation and...

The room was clean and nice, but for the price the hotel should have been comparable to the Fairmont. There was no lobby to speak of. The food choices were limited. I had friends staying there and they were paying the same price as mine with better accomodations and views. Even the Marriott next door was much better. Will not...

Service at this hotel was excellent and the rooms were clean and quiet. Staff was consistently polite and helpful from the room cleaners to the front desk and the doorman. The location near the sea walks and the green spaces were an extra bonus!

Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries.
