I stayed at Coast Coal Harbour for 5 days; 3 days was for a conference and 2 days was for leisure. The location was excellent. Just a 2 minute walk to the sea wall with lots of amenities and shopping close by. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel. Central location - short walking distance to convention centre and a few minutes more to restaurants on Robson/downtown shopping/gastown. Room was spacious, modern and clean. We had a good deal from price - therefore it was very good value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Good location but not charming. Nice entranceway and lobby area. Staff were good but not super good. The room we stayed in was on a lower floor so no views Comfortable bed and quiet room The property was sold out so no opportunity to change rooms. Average size rooms with a nice décor package Clean and nice good size bathroom...

In town for a conference with the kids. Rooms have two double beds. Beds were comfortable with duvets. The room had a damp smell when you entered. And the tub needed a rinse before use. The lobby is being renovated at the moment. This wasn't a problem in anyway. The location is great for walking to gas town or Granville...

Nice place, very clean and comfortable. Downtown location is great for those persons without a vehicle who depend on sky train or other methods ot pulbic transit. Cost of parking is a bit steep, but no different from other hotels in the area.

Clean, large room with comfortable beds. Met by friendly staff. Located near the waterfront sea wall and Stanley Park, and only a 10 minute walk from the Westcoast Express/Skytrain station in the centre of the city. Strongly recommended!

Fantastic front desk service, and the food served at the conference events was delicious! Amazing view of the Harbour as well. Room was very clean, and I loved that there was a compost bucket and recycling bin (as well as trash) in the room! I felt like I could keep up my eco-conscious ways while staying there!

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
