It's always hard to travel with 3 kids. Family rooms are so often just two adjoining single rooms. The two bedder here is a very nice and well appointed two bedroom apt you'd happily stay in a week and so conveniently located. Modern and with courteous team.

The l'hermitage is an older hotel in a good location. The rooms are clean and of a good size. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The cafe next door is amazing for breakfast & lunch. We enjoyed our stay & would stay there again if in Vancouver.

This hotel is beautiful, even more so than the photos. Our room had a private patio and fireplace, and a lovely bathroom. When we arrived, I was sick and the staff remembered that and were so kind! Room service was super fast. Overall a great experience.

My wife and I and our 12 year old daughter stayed at the hotel for 4 days on the way back to Australia from a ski trip in Sunpeaks, BC. I have to say this was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The layout of the rooms were perfect for us and it was like having...

We stayed the weekend at L'Hermitage. The rooms were nice, clean, and conveniently located in downtown. Staff were helpful making reservations and giving suggestions. My only "complaint" would be the hotel lounge serving staff, the server did not understand what rye was. Overall, nice stay.

My husband I stayed here for a long weekend. Our room was very nice and clean, and even came with its own electric fireplace. The service was exceptional - all the staff was very attentive and helpful throughout our entire stay. The location of the hotel could not have been better. We were easily able to explore the city without...

Fabulous hotel! Beautiful rooms. Staff extremely efficient and very friendly. Very helpful and cheery! Great location downtown and very handy for trendy Gastown. Even hired bikes for a trip around beautiful Stanley Park! The breakfast in Cafe Medina comes highly recommended too!

For our annual overnight stay in neighboring Vancouver to celebrate my wife's birthday (New Years' day), we chose this highly rated hotel. We were not disappointed, as everything about the place (service, room, amenities) was excellent, and for a perfectly reasonable rate. Rather than deliberating where to stay next year, we plan on making this our regular spot.

Made the trip to Vancouver and L'Hermitage for a combined business trip and weekend getaway. This is a great location for all your business and pleasure needs. Walking distance to the waterfront, shopping, theater, dining out, even Stanley Park if you are up for a longer walk. The staff is incredible and anxious to meet all your needs. Rooms are...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
