I booked a little "staycation" as a surprise for my husbands birthday. The service was excellent and the spa fabulous, they sent up a "Happy Birthday" cupcake which was a lovely touch and the bathroom was my favourite thing about our room! The new bar Prohibition was really cool and we will definitely be back there as well. Also being...

Stayed here for a weekend in March 2015. Great hotel with great staff. We had booked a Deluxe room and it was one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. Really well-appointed with a lovely interior design. The bathroom was even better! Concierge was great. Really helpful in recommending dinner reservations and local transportation. In fairness, all the...

I booked an smaller room and was upgraded to a huge suite with a magnificent bath! I love the foyer of this hotel the wooden panelling and the meticulous attention to detail. You really get a sense of that this is a heritage property with a rich and varied past. Ordered room service and the food was likewise of the...

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here. Professional, courteous and unobtrusive service. Clean well appointed spacious room with modern amenities. The cafe attached to the hotel is basic with pretty poor ccoffee. Would definitely stay again

Gorgeous hotel with exceptional customer service. I've stayed here several times and the staff are always friendly and professional. They have a Bentley standing by to take you to a restaurant or nearby shopping. The rooms are beautifully decorated while still being very comfortable. The bathrooms are large, modern design and very clean. The restaurants and bars are fantastic, too....

Its nice to write a really positive review of a hotel. On reflection, the Rosewood is probably the nicest hotel i have ever stayed in. This is coming from someone who has stayed several nights at Gleneagles which is also a stellar property. The Rosewood Georgia ticked all boxes and more and really was an amazing hotel to stay in...

This was the nicest hotel I have stayed at. Every member of the staff we dealt with was professional, polite and very knowledgeable. The bathroom was gorgeous and all the hotel amenities were great. We went for dinner at the Hawksworth restaurant and one of the best meals of my life. I suggest reservations as they get booked up well...

We stayed three nights in a deluxe room with a view of the art gallery on the 8th floor. Overall, the hotel is very nice and I'd highly recommend. The deluxe rooms are relatively large, with a small sitting area and a huge bathroom with an awesome soaking tub which we used each day to relax after long walks around...

Stayed at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia for two nights this April as a short getaway for my wife and I for her birthday. As one of the top hotels in Vancouver I thought it would be a nice weekend to celebrate. To start I found that the booking process online and then the questionnaire that was sent afterwards very useful...

Although there was some issues with air conditioning noise, management responded quickly and resolved the problems. Suites are beautifully furnished and in very good condition. Some inconsistent service levels on the front desk and with more staff on the front desk, these problems should be resolved. Great location to shops and harbour.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
