We loved our stay here. The cabin is cozy, well equipped, and very private. It's nestled in to some dense brush and trees at the back of the property along a wooden boardwalk. You really get to enjoy being in the middle of the rainforest and feeling miles away from everything, yet the excellent Chesterman beach is just steps away.... More

Two adults one teen, 5 nights. Perfect location, beautiful cabin, delicious breakfasts, and a working kitchen. I loved the rainforest path leading up to the cabin. Flashlights are provided if you're coming back at night. There's a perfect parking area right out front which easily fits a good sized car. Whilst rustic in appearance, the cabin has everything you could... More

We recently stayed here for 3 nights,we loved the rustic feel of the cabin, it was warm, comfortable, only a minutes walk to chestermans beach ( which had some amazing sunsets) close enough to town, and the breakfast were amazing- fresh pastries every morning, oj, tea, toast and something Baku would whip up which was always amazing. Plus the bonus... More

I stayed here with my two kids for several nights. It is directly across the road from Chesterman Beach, which is a huge plus as when the beach is busy the road overflows with parked cars. The cottage is set back from the road behind the proprieter's home. A lovely boardwalk path takes you to the door. The cottage is... More

Tofino is an expensive place to visit. The African Beach Bed and Breakfast is very reasonably priced. But its not for everyone and I will tell you why. First the good things. It is located a short three minute walk from the beach. You can hear the ocean waves crashing as you go to sleep at night. The cabin has... More

I have been coming to Tofino all my life but it is coming to the point where I can almost no longer afford to stay there! This cabin is really cozy, smells of cedar and is located just across the road from the beach access to Chersterman Beach (the best beach in the area in my opinion). The price of... More

We've been travelling to Tofino for many years and have stayed at many places. This was our favourite place so far. The cabin smelled like cedar upon our entry. The decor is all from Africa and it gives the cabin a unique personality. We felt very comfortable and secluded because the cabin is surrounded by the forest. The only sounds... More

I too have to say the "Traumatizing" is a bit over the top. We stayed here a couple of years ago and still agree with the most other current reviews. The breakfasts are amazing. The location to the beach is fabulous. It was ok to bring our dog and we had a fantastic time cooking crab one night for dinner.... More

I think the "traumatizing" review (below) was definitely an anomaly because we had a great experience. LOCATION - The cabin is right next to a beach access to North Chesterman Beach. Literally a 3-4 minute walk. We went stargazing at midnight on the beach and saw the Milky Way - it was awesome to not have to worry about driving... More

... Those are the exact words from my partner! Ignore the essay from the "traumatizing" review. If you love being enveloped by nature and feeling spoiled at the same time, Baku's African B&B is the spot. Unsure of even how to explain, so we'll just tell you our trip so far. (I write this review right now in the cabin... More
