Amenities were a bit tired; cabins are in a great location with a beautiful beach and bay. The cabins were in need of updating and repair, but the were spacious and cozy for those seeking a "cabin on the beach" experience. The kitchens were pretty well equipped, enough so that when we wanted to cook our own seafood meal from...

Facilities are disgusting and badly need an upgrade. 3 toilets, 2 female showers for hundreds of people. $20 deposit for a key to access dirty, stained showers. Tiny ocean side camp sites are packed together with people walking on top of each other to get to their site. You can hear everything going on in other tents and realistically you...

If you’re looking for a resort, a sanctuary to escape the city, relax in comfort and enjoy the peace and quiet of the ocean and rain forest, look elsewhere. If you are between the ages of 18 and 25 or so, back-packing through Vancouver Island or surfing on its west coast beaches, and don't mind crowded conditions, MacKenzie Beach Resort...

This place is by no means a resort. The standard is underwhelming!! The cabin we stayed in was very tired both in decor and up keep. The futon, which would have doubled as an extra bed, was horrific to sit on let alone sleep on. The bathroom was dirty. The bathtub had visible dirt and scum build up. The double...

Spent about 5 days on the campground while enjoying the fun stuff Tofino has to offer. The campground is set perfectly at MacKenzie Beach with a fireplace for each site. Also the pool and hot tub are a super nice thing to have after a day of surfing in the Pacific or basically at all times if you're a budget...

We set up early on the Friday of may long weekend which was fortunate as they don't take reservations. I'm glad we did as it was busy! Camp sites are a little smaller than average but they are well separated by hedges. the location next to the beach is big draw with lots of space to chill out and fire...

We stayed in one of the cabins at the MacKenzie Beach Resort during one of the busiest times of the year. The cabin was old and run down on the outside but cosy and warm on the inside - though rather small. The location is fantastic but the resort itself is very shabby, Campers are allowed to camp in tents...

Thanks Mackenzie beach resort for a wonderful stay in one of your beach front cabins. We were looking for a few days of rest and relaxation and got just that! Beautiful ocean views, long walks on a great beach, evening campfires on the sand, and tranquil mornings with a cup of coffee and the serene sound of the ocean. When...

Besides the fact that the sites are tiny and overflow was a parking lot, it was the amenities ( pool, shower, toilet) area that was disgusting. A beautiful view but not worth the money to stay in a parking lot setting. The place needs an overhaul

We stayed one night in this "campground" The sites are gravel on the side of a very dusty road and are incredibly tiny. They initially gave us site 51 which was on the road with a little strip of trees with a tent on the side of it. No place for a table, or to put out an awning or...
