We are huge fans of off-the-beaten path with a big dose of nature, but not isolated. Red Barn Lodge is this in spades, which is why this is our fifth visit. We love their location at the end of a road situated on 13 acres of pristine forest and only 4 miles (6 km) from Red Mountain. An eclectic mix...

Beautiful converted barn into a family home. The two rooms in the main house are downstairs, separate from the lovely host family. If breakfast is available, take it! Excellent value for a hearty and healthy meal before your adventures. Rooms were clean and tidied up daily. Sitting room was cozy and had direct access to the stunning outdoors. Thoughtful touches...

I've just returned home after spending 4 nights at Red Barn Lodge. My friends, fiance, and I absolutely loved our stay. Anthony and Helen were great hosts. The rooms were clean, and quiet, and the breakfast absolutely delicious. Each morning we were given a very hearty breakfast which set us up nicely for a day of skiing. We also enjoyed...

This really is a fabulous place to stay. We stayed in the guest house with two teen-agers and it was perfect. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen functional, and the outdoor space (including the pool) perfect for spreading out. Anthony and Helen are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. Great trail access from the front door. Close to...

We had stayed here once before a couple of years back and we enjoyed it so much we had to come back! We asked for the same room we stayed in last time and it did not disappoint! Once again the room was spacious, comfy and had a wonderful country feel. Still enjoy seeing the donkeys in the paddock! Breakfast...

We only stayed 1 night here, but what a wonderful place to stay in Rossland! The Lodge was built from the structure of an old barn and it had that country, cozy, rustic feel to it, right down to the claw foot tub. Our room was very comfortable and large. There were some farm animals on the property which just...

We stayed here with a group of friends on a snowboarding trip. We stayed in the guest house and it was great! An older house but super clean! Anthony was great right from the time we booked our trip all the way through! Will definitely be staying here on another trip to Rossland!

We had a very memorable stay! There was lots of snow so we borrowed some snowshoes and set off from right out their back door. So convenient and beautiful! We also snowshoed and cross country skied to a lodge with the Red Barn owners and another couple staying at the same time as us. It was awesome seeing the stars...

This is a great location for both summer and winter visits to Rossland. It's a short drive to Red Mountain, an easy walk into town, and has trails at its doorstep! Our room was clean and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious food; we agreed when one of the other guests said,"this smells like the...
