We arrived at midnight after the ferry and received a warm welcome when we reached the guesthouse. After a big day on the ferry we were delighted to enter our two bedroom unit. The units are very spacious, well appointed, clean and have a really nice feel plus curtains - something we have missed when the sun stays up so...

This guest house is a great find. You essentially have your own apartment with full kitchen. Very cozy and great location near all local restaurants that are walkable. It rains quite a bit here so not always walkable because of that but still good facilities for your use. I liked it over the other hotel services offered at the time...

We (2 couples) booked a 2 bedroom unit for an overnight while waiting for the ferry. Our conclusion was it was tremendous value. Spotlessly clean, well appointed and much better than most hotels you could find in the price range. For us, with our own vehicle, it was extremely convenient, especially as you have to be off at the crack...

Staid 4 days (June 06-10) in 2 bedroom suite (#6). The accommodation was perfect for 2 couples. Very clean and well equipped for cooking as needed. Ample parking at the front or the back of the building. Walking distance to town center and parks. Reasonable rates for that time of year. Good service from staff. Very quiet area at night.

We stayed at The Black Rooster Guest House for 4 nights. Our room was spacious and user friendly, with a wee fridge in the room. We enjoyed the use of a complete kitchen, dining room and laundry facilities. The folks there were very helpful, making several 'info' calls on our behalf. The location was a short walk from the downtown.

The room was nice, it had a small kitchen connected to it. The fixtures were updated, and the decor was newer. The mattress was not very good, a bit like sleeping in a hammock. I ran a bath in the tub and the water clearly had large amounts of rust in it, the tub water was very dark. The tv...

Stayed here for two nights with my family...total four of us. Stayed in their two bedroom apartment...awesome set up! Two bedrroms... both with queen beds. Full kitchen with island, small full bathroom with tub. Livingroom and kitchen are open concept...large comfy couch L shape, which turns into a pull out queen bed...so with the L shape you could sleep 3...

We arrived at the hotel at about midnight off the ferry from Port Hardy. We were shown to our apartment - 2 rooms with en suite bathrooms and a common area with kitchen and sitting area. Clean, tastefully decorated and quiet, perfect for our 2 night stay. It is a well run establishment and worth another visit.

Recently remodeled. Nicely decorated with new model decor- clean and neat. However, we shared a common room for TV and complete kitchen with our private bedroom and bath off to one side. It was very nice except the bathroom was very small especially the small narrow sink. It was very hard to brush teeth in the sink.

We just returned from 8 days fishing in Prince Rupert. Stayed in a two bedroom/two bathroom appartment, all new, very nicely decorated and clean. Space is a bit small but it is comfortable and if your looking for a place to rent with a full kitchen that is clean and pleasant, this is your place. Would definately stay here again.
