Stayed 2 nights at the Inn on Long Lake and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity of the surroundings. The staff were very down to earth and helpful in every way. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy and the rooms were very spacious with brand new bathrooms. We all enjoyed using the spa housed in the same building...

Thank you costfam for your wonderful review. It is wonderful to get such great feedback from someone who travels internationally like yourself. I am glad you liked the rooms, and the renovations we completed less than a year ago. The hot tub is indeed a very nice way to relax, and it also has a great view over Long Lake....

The hotel is in the final stages of a renovation. The rooms have been completed, and the lobby is in the midst. The rooms have a Great Lake view, the housekeeping is top notch, the breakfast bar is well stocked and the hostess is very helpful and friendly. We have re booked for our next trip. The hotel is very...

Thank you L L for your review. Yes, the room renovations were finished last year, and we have started our lobby renovation. It's quite exciting seeing the changes in the property over the last year. We have always had a great location on the lake shore, and I think our rooms are equal to the view-and the equal of any...

We've enjoyed two separate overnight trips at the Inn over the winter and I'd highly recommend it to others. The room was clean and comfy, staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was a good value.

I recently stayed at the Inn on Long Lake and have nothing but positive words to say about this hotel. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. The rooms appear to be newly renovated and come with everything you need. The beds are super comfortable. I usually stay in Starwood Hotels and I would say that this hotel is...

Thank you sold66 for the wonderful review. We did indeed do a major renovation last year, and I am so pleased to hear your praise. We know we have a great location, and we did strive to bring our rooms to the same level as other "branded" hotels might offer. I think the finish of our rooms, as well as...

Stayed at the Inn on Long Lake a few weeks ago on a work trip, it was a perfect location for my sales trip to the island. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the sunrises were AMAZING! At this time of year you don't have to get up too early to catch one, they are definitely worth...

Thanks Becky K for the wonderful review. The colder weather this year has brought some beautiful sunrises with it. I posted a photo just this morning to Twitter of some confused ducks on a skiff of ice that formed overnight. We do get beautiful sunrises in the summer too, we just have to get up earlier to enjoy them. It...

The title says it all, but its true. I had stayed here before and thought it was ok. Last trip here in December 2016 for work, I got in, went for a hot tub, then back to my room. I crawled into my bed under the covers (which were made and tucked in) and found myself in a cold, circular...

First and foremost let me apologize for the inconvenience you suffered during your stay. My front desk staff did alert me to your problem in the room after you had checked out. I immediately took my Housekeeping Manager to the room to see for ourselves. Yes, there was moisture in the mattress, and you should never have been put into...

I picked this property as I needed to spend a day around north Nanaimo area. It was off peak so I did not have to spend too much.
