Stayed here overnight for medical reasons. Found it to be clean and comfortable and room overlooked the lake. It was convenient, had wifi, parking and provided a continental breakfast. Only drawback was that the room doors opened to the outside, so had to go outdoors to dining area.

We decided to last minute travel to the island. We arrived very late and added an extra night to our stay. They had issues with the key card machine at check in which was a minor nuisance but not a show stopper. Rooms are nicely renovated with on-going renos in some way of the common areas. Nice to see the...

Although they were working on the reception area and the elevator was out of commission for a while this proved to be a very nice place to stay. It was quiet yet close to several shopping malls and a short drive to the heart of Nanaimo. The breakfast area was rather small but very well equipped and the gal looking...

Thank you Chrome_Dome_McD for taking the time to share your thoughts on our Inn. We are indeed busy updating our lobby area, and we really appreciate that our guests are so understanding during the process. I think it is going to look wonderful when it is done, but getting there has brought some challenges for guests and especially the staff...

My wife and I stayed at the Inn on Long Lake, for a weekend getaway from the city and to visit Family. We stayed in 203 on the second floor and had an amazing view of the lake and dock. At night it was all lit up, so picturesque. We had two amazing king size beds that were so comfortable,...

Thank you Kelvin and Denise! Such a wonderful review! We do have a great team working here, taking care of our guests from the time they walk in the door until they check out and leave us. The Housekeepers do a great job keeping our rooms looking sharp, and the wonderful ladies in the breakfast room stay busy baking muffins...

Returning to this family friendly 'Inn' has been a treat - while located on a busy highway the location on the lake more than makes up for it. The breakfasts provide a variety of choices - the muffins baked fresh each morning, the coffee and juices are plentiful and my 8 yr old critic pronounced the Belgian waffles yummy. Highly...

Thank you coloradogal1235 for your wonderful review. Yes, we are close to the highway, but with the layout of the hotel, the road noise is really not an issue once you are in your room, or enjoying our grounds along the lakeshore. I am so pleased that we met with the approval of the 8 year old "critic". We understand...

Room on ground level steps out onto the lake front. Room appeared fresh, bed and pillows comfy, linens nice weight and no stains or frays. Closet, desk, small round table, 3 chairs, good long dresser for placing bags on, flat screen tv, small fridge with freezer, microwave, kreugar coffee maker with fixings, iron, hair dryer and shampoos, soaps etc. Continental...

Stayed 2 nights at the Inn on Long Lake and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity of the surroundings. The staff were very down to earth and helpful in every way. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy and the rooms were very spacious with brand new bathrooms. We all enjoyed using the spa housed in the same building...

Thank you costfam for your wonderful review. It is wonderful to get such great feedback from someone who travels internationally like yourself. I am glad you liked the rooms, and the renovations we completed less than a year ago. The hot tub is indeed a very nice way to relax, and it also has a great view over Long Lake....

Thank you L L for your review. Yes, the room renovations were finished last year, and we have started our lobby renovation. It's quite exciting seeing the changes in the property over the last year.
