After having an impossible time booking on the Travelodge website and being wrongly billed for a "no show" I was delighted to deal directly with hotel staff who immediately rectified the problem. My previous stays at this location were always very positive. The hotel is clean, safe and within walking distance to several great restaurants. The staff is always friendly,...

The front staff are friendly and helpful here the rooms are good and clean, some offer a view of the harbour. One thing I note is the beds are nice and comfortable and the walls are well insulated so you won't have much trouble falling asleep at night. The rooms have a small fridge and microwave, and some rooms are...

Nothing here will blow you away but it's a reasonable place to stay. Fairly clean and the staff are pretty good. Room comes with breakfast, but it's nothing special. Located near the ferry so it can be a convenient place.

Warm friendly front desk staff at this centrally located hotel next door to a Whitespot. Good parking and easy access to the front door. Wifi worked well and it was very clean. Stayed week of July 18, 2016 for one night, cost about $155. Our room was clean, relatively spacious and had a balcony. This hotel must be quite old but it has been renovated with what appear to be quality materials for the most part. The walls still have the “old school” paneling but they are not very noticeable. It’s a...

One stop travel journey - this hotel met my needs. Quiet, overlooking the parking lot on the second floor, on a mid week evening. Busy place, but not a noisy place. Breakfast was adequate, staff were friendly and business like.

Was not impressed with this motel. The room was not cleaned in the four days we were there. The elevator only goes to the third floor so if you have kids, lost of luggage or a disability that hinders you climbing stairs beware. The breakfast leaves something to be desired.

The Travelodge in Nanaimo is conveniently located about 5-7 minutes drive to the BC Ferry Terminal. It's a three-story motel that appears to be recently renovated. I requested a room on the third floor and got that room, and on the quest side of the building. All rooms seem to have a private balcony and from mine I had a...

We had a room on the third floor. The upper rooms all appear to have little balconies- a nice bonus. The room was very small, but had everything we required (fridge, microwave, iron, coffeemaker). We spent most of our days outside the hotel, so it was a good value

I needed to stay relatively close to downtown in a low-range price but not too seedy. I chose Travelodge for the location and price. All in all. the facility is good, as long as you consider that it is an old building. The rooms are clean and there's an added bonus for smokers - balconies with ashtrays. As for the...
