We stayed at the Maple View while visiting Nanaimo for a wedding. The booking and arrival logistics were easy and quick. The accommodations are outstanding and Peter was very helpful in getting us all settled and feeling very much at home. We stayed two nights and the breakfasts for our large group were outstanding. My husband, 2 year old son and I were in Nanaimo dealing with a stressful situation but after a lovely few days chatting with Peter and enjoying his hospitality we soon found ourselves relaxing and enjoying the peaceful beauty of the Island once again. We booked last minute via booking.com. Peter welcomed us when we arrived from the ferry a little late. The room was quite nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious and Peter's stories made it even more entertaining. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Vancouver Island or Nanaimo.

The interior design was very clean and modern, "Better Homes & Gardens" class, with every amenity you could imagine. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed chatting with Peter while he prepared it. He was also very helpful on what...

Peter and his family took me in on very short notice for a 7 night stay, due to an extended work contract. I stayed in the lovely Roseberry suite, equipped with its own personal bathroom, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and... HD television!! The home is conveniently located within walking distance to the nearest shopping plaza and grocery market. The bed and...

Five of us stayed in the Lancaster suite for one night and it was most excellent. We arrived separately in two vehicles from different parts of BC and were greeted by the very hospitable Peter. He promptly showed us where everything was and made us feel very comfortable. As this place is about 7 km away from downtown Nanaimo he...

Where do I start! My family (hubby plus a 15 month old) and I came in from Ontario for a job interview in Nanaimo and decided to stay at Maple View B&B. Needless to say, we were frantic to figure out how to get around, where to book a car, all the usual panics of traveling so far from home....

Ambiance was very nice, location quite a distance from center of town. This newly remodeled site is nicely done; however, value for money wasn't there when compared to other B&Bs. The walls are thin so conversations and noise from other rooms can easily be heard. Amenities were lacking for price of room.
