Our stay at the Beach House Prestige in Downtown Kelowna was like our own little beachfront property in the dead of the coldest part of our Okanagan winter this year. The decor was subtle and tasteful. There were unique pieces in the room and it did not feel cookie cutter at all. The patio overlooks the road that leads to the bridge and the huge waterfront park. It was the perfect place to quietly people watch in the evening. The linen is one of the best parts of any Prestige property, they're so crisp, clean and luxurious feeling. We've stayed at this property in the summer months too and the bedding is perfect regardless of the weather. The pillow are also very lush, and have that perfect soft and firm feel to them. Definitely spend the extra and get one of their deluxe or designer king rooms, the baths in these rooms are a thing of beauty. They are standalone jet tubs that are not tucked into a corner or seperate room so you can hang out and enjoy the time with your partner. They are also immaculately clean and as they are a standalone unit, they are no corners for questionable grime to hide. The staff is always the best here and go above and beyond to correct any issues we came across or fulfill any of our requests. And there knowledge and passion for the local community is evident in how they recommend and gush about the things to do during your stay.

I am so grateful for Kevin at Prestige. He managed to make a disastrous trip into a wonderful one. We booked an Airbnb and when we arrived to the unit we walked into a very smelly, unclean unit. It was so bad that we couldn't stay in the Airbnb unit so we were stranded, upset, stressed and desperate. Thankfully we walked into Prestige. Kevin made our stay a memorable one. He left us a personal note, set us up in a suite to die for and went over and above to ensure we were satisfied by answering all my questions and letting us see the units first. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would say is the balcony facing the road is noisy so better to pick one facing the other side if you are a light sleeper. Suite was beautiful, clean, convenient to everything, pool and hot tub are great amenities. We greatly appreciate Kevin and we wish him great success at his career with Prestige.

The room was freezing and even though I turned the heat up to a normal room temperature, it remained fixed at a cold setting. The hallways were even colder. The hot tub room was locked because someone forgot to unlock it. The shower water temperature was also cold. I waited ten minutes with it running on full hot and it never heated up to shower temperature. I received a phone call from the hotel room phone at 4:00am that woke me up. I didn’t answer because it was on the other side of the room and it took me a moment to realize where the sound was coming from. I still have no idea why someone phone me that early. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. It would seem someone on a management level tried to cut corners by lowering the temperature of everything.

I specifically booked this hotel, because it had an indoor pool. However, both times we tried to get into the pool during pool hours the door was locked and staff could not open the door. Therefore, we were not able to use it when we wanted the 1st time. The 2nd time after staff came to our room to let us know the door was finally opened, we only used the hot tub that had micro ants crawling around it, as the main pool water wasn't heated or hardly heated enough to enjoy. All hallway room doors on our floor were very dirty along the bottoms and in need of a paint job. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable.
