This campground is in a very dusty dirty area with very little grass and very small sites. We didn't use the laundry or restrooms so I can't speak for those. The best to be said about this campground is that it's very close to downtown, easy to get to restaurants, parks, etc. However we did have a beautiful sky photo... More

I stayed here while working in town with a couple of coworkers. The sites are pretty good size and they have laundry on site which is nice. The down side is the washing machine was very poor and barely cleaned my clothes and the washrooms are in just one spot for the whole campsite so if you stay at the... More

Several weeks before we stayed here, I sent an e-mail through the campground's web site twice, a few days apart, to try to book our reservation. I received no reply to either note. Then I called the office and left a message. No reply. I called back again and the call was answered. Success! (Finally.) Checking in on arrival was... More

The showers were hot. Don't take camping area 3 as that seems to be where all kids congregate to play. There's no enforcement of quiet hours. it's easy to get around Kamloops from the campground and the wifi was pretty fast!

A convenient campground close to downtown Kamloops. We stayed here with our motorhome and did not use any of the facilities with the exception of water and electric. Place was relatively quiet for being so close to the city (20 minute walk to downtown) but Kamloops is a big railway town so there was some noise from huge trains, but... More

Let's start with the positives. The campground is easy to find and easy to get too. The campground is in a great location, close to down town Kamloops. The river is right next to the campground and it is beautiful and refreshing. The bathrooms are clean, and although it is close to the train tracks, it is not overly loud.... More

They are happy to take your money upfront but don't tell you the water pump doesn't work upon cleaning out an rv....that's very poor courtesy. If you are going south through Merritt, there are 2 clean and "free" sani-dump stations with running water to properly clean out your unit...Silver Sage? Never again.

This was our first camping trip with our 1yr old daughter, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I read some terrible reviews and after a few nights of camping at beautiful but exceedingly noisy campgrounds on our way to Kamloops, I was expecting a noisy zoo. It wasn't that way at all. Most of the campers were... More

Bathrooms were immaculate but way too far away from our campsite. Had to hike up a small hill. Not good if you have to go to the bathroom in a hurry in the middle of the night! Good wifi connection. Strong smell of tar everywhere...probably because of the oil on the dirt road meant to keep the dust down. A... More

Just stayed at Sage for 5 days - and will definitely go back. Well maintained, spotless washrooms. great location and accommodating & professional Management. My wife left her watch in the washroom the morning we left and didn't realize until we were 50 miles away. She called and got Manager "Bill" and advised. He called back 20 minutes later to... More
