Stayed one night during The Heart of The Rockies tour. Room adequate, but looked out over a roof and cooling system. Busy area, and quite a walk to the nearest shop. Quite a run down area. Husband was stopped by someone asking for money. Would hesitate staying again.

The Thompson is in a great location down town, close to bars & shops (although there aren't much shops open if you come in on the RM) walking distance also to the park! The rooms aren't stuffy and aircon is easy to use, wifi works well and is free, rooms have a view of the city or mountains, and they...

We stayed at this hotel as part of the Rocky Mountaineer package. On arrival, one of our suitcases had been damaged and was unusable. At hotel reception I asked to borrow some tools to repair the case and the young lady on duty, named Summer, went out of her way to find tools and help me to repair the case....

Surprisingly a wonderful place to stay overnight stop. Friendly personnel, and the manager Deborah was kind, helpful and informative. Golf lovers' heaven, though we are not the golfers. They spotted 34 different kind of birds, and we saw turtles crossing the road as their sign indicate.

The hotel is centrally located and easy to access. There is parking on site for free. The rooms are a reasonable size. Everything is a little old and needs work. The Wall paper in the halls. The door jambs in the rooms. The toilet had difficulty in flushing first time, every time. There are a lot of options in Kamloops...

Was booked in through Rocky Mountaineer and it is a good basic hotel that is clean and the minimum facilities needed for a quick overnight (got in at 1930 and left at 0700). The bed was by far one of the most comfortable we encountered on our trip.

This is a very functional hotel. It lacks ambience and needs updating. Our room was OK, but not somewhere you felt you could spend a lot of time in. The breakfast room is in the basement, not outside windows and the hot food looked most unappetising.

Stayed 1 night. No complaints. Really nice staff. Has pool but didn't get chance to use it. Kamploops is a nice city and you can walk from hotel to town. As always, small towns are lovely with choices of restaurants and stores. Nice hotel room, clean washrooms.

I stayed here for 1 short night on my journey with Rocky Mountaineer. The hotel staff are lovely and accommodating. The hotel itself is basic but clean and comfortable. It has all the amenities you may need whilst staying here. The town itself is small so I suggest if here for a short time walk the 2 mins down the...
