Sadly, the Quamichan Inn was destroyed my fire a few nights ago. A tragic loss of this magnificent historic building. The local community is in mourning as many locals held special events such as weddings at this unique property.

We stayed one night at the inn. The restaurant wasn't open but we had a decent continental breakfast the next day. Good coffee. We were definitely there off season. We were the only guests and they were renovating the main dining room. But we were made welcome and the stay was fine.

On January 9, 2016, our friends invited us to join them for lunch at the Quamichan Inn. It was our first visit. We were very impressed with the outstanding service. The ambiance was very comfortable and welcoming, and the fireplace to provide additional warmth. We highly recommend the flatbread - it was loaded with goodies and a very generous portion....

Our Society had a Wonderful Christmas Buffet Luncheon. Served in a nice hertage home dining room, The service was excellent and the food was excellent. We finished off with a very tasty Christmas Pudding with fresh Wipped Cream

We held our wedding at The Quamichan Inn in August 2015. We were so well looked after by the new owner, manager and staff - I can't thank them enough! The garden was perfect and private for our ceremony, the reception space was beautiful and intimate. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the dinner! The bar...

We had not visited the Quamichan for a few years, and we'd had several sub par experiences in a row. Hearing that they had again changed managers we decided to give it another go, and wish we hadn't. Indifferent service, mediocre food, tired room. The staff may have changed, but unfortunately nothing else has. If anything, it was worse than...

We've been going to the Quamichan Inn for several years for specialty dinners and it has always been reliable. Cosy atmosphere. Ample food. Tasty and at a reasonable price. Great place for a wedding party or intimate dinner. Owners always make you feel "at home". We'll be back!

Went to the Inn for luch on jan.22 2015. Had not been there for a few months. The menu was discussed with the server --- when the food came the steak was under cooked and burnt on the outside and was swimming in a horrid burnt tasting juice/sauce, the few vegetables steamed were raw and cold, and the fries were...

Stayed in the Quamichan suite for two nights during a recent visit. The bed was wonderful and after I figured out the air conditioning, the temperature was pleasant. Loved the great fluffy towels and the dining room service. The food is a cut above normal B and B fare. The owner was helpful and pleasant and made us feel at...

Stayed in the Maple Bay room during Summer. While the rooms are air conditioned it was pretty uncomfortably hot! The rooms are located upstairs so that didn't help. Otherwise the room was perfect for our stay. There was some items left in the bathroom obviously from a previous guest when we checked in but overall the Inn was comfortable and...

“Restaurant only: If going as a couple (or a couple of couples!), make a reservation and book the small room at the front. Very romantic, private and pleasantly quirky. Can be a bit hot in the summer, otherwise a great little venue for a special dinner.”
