Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The cabins are up a winding road up a mountain - an easy and lovely drive. Even in June Miette was surrounded by snow, so beautiful and atmospheric, though meant we couldn't do the sulfur skyline walk we'd hoped to. Staying at the cabins means you can nip in and out of the springs whenever you like and beat the crowds a little (recommend the all day pass). We saw 4 bears during our stay, 1 up at the cabins and 3 on the road up. Lots of walks so great for hiking. Nice meals at the restaurant - though a little pricey due to location.

The resort itself is pretty rustic and quite isolated, so if you're looking for a remote location this establishment is perfect. I loved that I was surrounded by mountains and had a lovely view no matter where i was.

However, the wifi seems to be limited and doesn't allow social media to load and since I am not a smoker myself, I did not appreciate one of the staff members (bearded gentleman) smoking in front of my motel room. It was hot so I had my window open and I felt like smoke was getting into my room...was not happy about that.

Other than that, I did enjoy the hikes around the area and although the hot springs weren't open we walked up to the source at Utopia and it was lovely.

We stumbled upon this place because of bad weather and the desire to not tent in the cold. The staff was really friendly when we checked in.

We had a room in the motel. It was cozy. Small kitchenette and a couch and bed. The bed was very soft. The gas heater in the room worked very well. We did have to turn it way down. The shower was really small with nothing over the drain, so didn't want to drop anything. Water pressure was minimal. The walls were thin and could hear the neighbours dog barking for quite some time.

The hot springs were closed so we didn't visit them, but we did visit the restaurant. The staff was really friendly and engaging. The food was pretty good at both dinner and breakfast. We didn't explore the area too much as it snowed on us, but what we did see was beautiful.

I think the place could use a little bit of TLC, but the location is lovely, and there is a charm to it all. We would go back.

I booked this resort and was unable to show up due to an accident on the highway and no service for a large part of the drive. I attempted to call the resort when we had service but the message advised the office was closed. We stopped in to another hotel (as it was late) to ask about office closures etc at this resort and how we would check in. This hotel staff also attempted to call the report, with no luck. We ended up staying at this new hotel as i was unsure of what to do if we continued on to this hotel and the office was closed. I then emailed booking.com the next day and they advised they would ask them to reimburse me the no show fee. It has never been reimbursed so I called the hotel directly and spoke with the management. She offered no understanding and was rude even though I explained the circumstances. I have now paid for two hotels and although I am aware of policies, it was a one off and attempts were made on my part to contact the hotel and booking.com. Even if a full reimbursement could not be offered, it would have been nice to have some understanding or partial reimbursement. I will never book at this resort again and am very disappointed with how I was treated. This is not a client focused way to run a business.

While not opening for 2020 I just wanted to state what an incredible gem this place is. The accommodations are simple, clean and well kept. Our family is so sad we can't return this year but we'll be back in 2021! We've stayed in both a cabin and chalet room and enjoyed both. Cabin is obviously better if you're staying longer.

The restaurant is also really quaint and family friendly with North American and Greek dishes. My boys loved the spaghetti and Miette Burger.

Loved the surroundings as it was nestled in the forest and right next to the hot springs although it was closed. Check in was a breeze and the staff were nice. This review is for the room itself. We stayed in the motel sleeper and man! The walls are so thin you cannot sleep especially if your neighbor is so loud doing whatever it is they're doing! If you really wanna stay here, you should rent the cabin as those would not have shared walls. The shower is very small too. Also bring an extension cord if you have a lot of gadgets, only 1 available at the bedside as the fridge, microwave and lampshade are already plugged in by the wall.

After a missed year. They were closed due to Co Vid. Our annual bike tripe was back at Miette Hot Springs Bungalows. The rooms are clean and cozy. The food in the restaurants is awesome. I had the lasagna , the sauce was so good I ordered a side of it. The burger was home made. And the Host Anna was an great host. Can not wait to go back !!!!! Big thank you to all your staff.

These rustic bungalows nestled at the end of the road to the hot springs is a great place to stay and unwind. We spent 3 nights there a few weekends ago with our riding group on our annual trip to Jasper. I personally love that there is no TV or phone. You can just stay and take in the beauty of the mountains and the wildlife and relax.

Our room was cozy but had everything we needed. Comfy bed, warm blanket, bathroom with a shower. New this year there was a coffee maker in the room along with a small fridge.

For many years now we have travelled to Miette at Thanksgiving for a family vacation in the mountains. We always stay at Miette Hot Springs bungalows. Our favourite rooms are the cabins because of the fireplaces, but to be honest, we also have enjoyed our stay in the chalet and motel ad well.

My family loves to come to this resort in Jasper. Away from the crowds, great hiking, walking distance to the hot springs, lots of wild life to see, good restaurant and cute store, playground for the kids. Great place to get away and make memories as a family. We have been going back for six years and plan to go again this year. Great place for a family reunion.

My recollection is that the cabins had a well equipped small kitchen and separate dining area We booked a one bedroom cabin with a fireplace There are several accommodation choices and I am not sure what the other types are like It was cool at night - in August There is a nice restaurant on site and good grocery shops in Jasper
