Unfortunately we were unable to stay as the road was closed by snow and we didn't make it to Jasper. Matt efficiently organised a refund for us. Hopefully we will have an opportunity to visit in the future.

We stayed 3 nights in a standard room and 2 nights in a premium room. Nice location on the east end of the shop & restaurant district right next door to the Bear Paw Bakery (yum, good for pastry, bread, sandwiches and eat in breakfast of lunch), also, restaurant and convenience store right next door. A bit tedious walking up... More

Filia Inn is not super fancy, but it was in a great location and a wonderful value. We loved being able to walk everywhere without having the noise and congestion of being on the main street. The young man who checked us in was very informational and did not steer us wrong on restaurants, hikes, etc.

I would highly recommend the Filia Inn. We stayed there for 4 nights in July, 2016. Matt, the owner, was very responsive to the questions I emailed to him prior to the stay and during check-in he was extremely informative about things to do in Jasper; even helping us figure out what things could be done in the rain since... We searched a lot for one night in Jasper, most places wouldn't accept a one night stay. I was reserving early enough that Filia Inn had one night stays still available so we were more then grateful to the owner Matt and his partner for taking a one night stay. We took a cab from the train station, not realizing... More

We knew it was on second floor without lift, so got up there easily - Matt was very welcoming and helpful, advised us what to do for eats, trips in our short time in Jasper. The room very comfortable, not luxury but good bed, good shower, our key ingredients. The restaurant downstairs gave us 15% discount so very happy all... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in July as the cost was reasonable compared to many other hotels given it was peak holiday seadon. What a gem! It's one of those places you want to keep a secret but it deserves to be prompted! Yes, there is a long flight of stairs to carry your case up but you only... More

We stayed here for one night in July 2016. Don't expect luxury, it is very basic but in a very good location in Jasper. We found the room very cramped however and the checking in process is unconventional! Matt was helpful suggesting things to do in the area. We were woken up very early in the morning by the smell... What a lovely place!! Matt was very helpful. He knew all the best places to go in Jasper. Rooms very clean and very comfortable. It is on the second floor, with no elevator. There was a great roof patio. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to Jasper.

We stayed here three nights recently and I really enjoyed the stay. It is very convenient for walking around town and I really appreciated the easy access to the Discovery trail and the branches to some of the other trails near Jasper. Despite the proximity to the main road, it is relatively quiet. We arrived in a rainstorm and the... More
