These bungalow lodges were much better than the typical hotels we had been staying at during our trip through Alberta, Canada. We were originally booked in one that was right in the middle of the parking lot that baked in the sun. Since there was no air conditioning and I had a heat intolerance, this was unacceptable. What made this place memorable was the front desk person, Ashley. What a compassionate sweetheart. She went out of her way to accommodate us with better shaded lodging, luggage assistance, fans, ice etc. and maintained a more cheerful disposition than anyone on our entire vacation. You are blessed to have her. The easy access to the river shore was a bonus. Longer riverside hiking trails also accessible, which led to gorgeous mountain views looming over the meandering aqua river valley.

Rather high priced for off season. Surprised to see a notice that a surcharge of $20.00 would be added if dishes not washed. Pillows were not good quality. Excellent location for being close to attractions such as the ice fields and the sky tram.

Stayed for 3 nights with our family in July 2021. We loved the location bit away from the Jasper crowds but this is what we wanted. On the river and did some great hikes from our room. The cabin was good bit simple but good. The furniture was a bit dated but still all passable. The night air was cool enough so did not need AC and also had a fan in the room but did not need it. The location of the Tv was not very good as it is facing the kitchen area instead of the living room which we ma it work. Was able to park in front o our door which was very handy. My only complaint which is minor is they do not provide any knives except butter knives hard to cut meat or a piece of bread with a butter knife and they only provide vey small drinking glasses. When I checked out they stated if I came to the front desk they might have been able to accommodate me but maybe so but they should just provide these items.
The staff at the front desk were all very nice and friendly. They do not provide any cleaning or service each day. They said do to COVID but travelled for 3 weeks and every other place did provide service but not a big deal.
The only reason I did not give them 4 out of 5 is the price to the accommodations I felt did not match. At $400 per night thought would be a bit higher end. And more service. A nice cabin in a great location with friendly staff.

We stayed at Jasper House Bungalows for two nights when we visited the Jasper National Park. We booked a room with 2 queen beds. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. We got a breakfast burrito at the on-site resto, it was tasty and of good value. The room and bed were comfy. We could hear the elk bugle sound at night but we were still able to sleep. The property was less than 10 minutes from town of Jasper, this gave us the convenient without being in the busy town area. Would recommend this place.

We stayed here earlier in July and absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer! Going to sleep to the sound of the river was just so wonderful and our one year old loved exploring the grounds! The bungalow was super comfortable and was well appointed kitchenette so we made a few meals at home. It is otherwise a short drive into Jasper town. The staff here were also exceptional - provided local tips and were always wanting to help!

This resort is located a quick 5 minute drive from downtown Jasper. The cottages are quaint, clean and equipped with a sink, small fridge, cooktop, oven and microwave. Although the furnishings are dated, the cottage was clean, functional and the resort was quiet. They have an onsite cafe that serves breakfast and dinner which was a huge welcome after a long days drive from Calgary. I highly recommend their tacos!

Discover this charming bungalow enclave just outside the town, nestled near the serene Athabasca River, perfect for a leisurely toe-dip. With breathtaking views in every direction, the ambiance is truly enchanting. While the rooms offer all the necessities and boast remarkable comfort, it's worth noting that the walls are a tad thin; our stay included the 'serenade' of a singing and snoring neighbor. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

It was perfect. It was a family vacation and there were 4 adults. The place was immaculately clean which when a building is a log cabin that can be hard to do as the wood just traps the smell of dust. We really felt like we were on our own as it was so peacefully and quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our windows looked out across the river so the view was amazing. Having the kitchen where we could make our own meals if we wanted to was perfect as we didn't have to deal with crowded restaurants and the noise level that comes with that. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great location about a 45 minute walk into town but worth it for the opportunity to see elk wandering around and experience the wilder side of life.
Rooms are well equipped but a bit faded and probably would not suit all travellers but we found we had everything we needed.
On site bar and restaurant were good too and staff excellent and really helpful sorting rooms and ordering a taxi at the end of our stay

Yes, the Elk Village Restaurant is on the Jasper House Bungalows property and is walk-able from the river view bungalows. However it is on the opposite side of the property.

October in Jasper can be fairly cool. We would recommend that you bring some warmer clothing just in case. We are located approximately 3.5 kilometers south of the town of Jasper. There are no shuttles or Uber however we do have taxis that can take you back and forth to the town of Jasper. They generally cost approximately $20 per trip one way. We look forward to welcoming you to Jasper House Bungalows.
We have traveled four times with Caravan and have been pleased with most aspects of the trips. When we went in September the wildfires prevented us from seeing some things. The scenery was beautiful. We did not care for our guide (Jim), he was not friendly and didn't even give out his cell phone number in case of emergency. So, just make sure you don't get him and you should have a great time. The hotels we're all good and the river rafting tour was fantastic! Hope this helps.
