Lobby staff and room excellent. Receptionist very helpful and pleasant. Food in both food outlets dreadful and grossly overpriced. Worst eating experience in Canada! Quality of breakfast better but again grossly overpriced. Over $60 CD for two people!

It's really a great accommodation choice for who is going to visit the Columbia Icefield. Perfect location. Clean room. Good service. It's really convenient as the ticket center is just located at the same building with Glacier view inn.

The location is unrivaled, right in the middle of the Icefield Parkway, fantastic views in all directions. Room was large, nice and clean and way better than I thought it would be after having read some of the other reviews. The check-in desk is hard to find, but service was great. The food in the restaurant was really expensive, but...

Fun attractions and great accommodations. We did the skywalk adventure and it was like nothing else we had ever experienced. The shuttles get you to and from the chalet quickly and with a warm and inviting smile

Clean, comfortable rooms, very basic, no extras. Breathtaking views, beautiful setting. Because of its unique and remote look location food is a bit more costly than normal. A bit of a hike from the parking lot to the lobby. Easy to hear people in the next room. But, all in all, well worth a one night stay.

Very much a captive market. Navigating the hoards of people waiting the buses for the glacier trip was daunting, but relieved when entering the reception. Room okay, though number items needed maintenance. Food in restaurant was okay. Had two doubles in our room - one in a loft. Not that we needed it but for those who are wanting two...

Hi there Louise J, Thank you for your comments on the Glacier View Inn. Worth staying here to experience the Glacier and Mountains without the crowds - didn't have a problem locating the check in desk and they were really helpful with booking another trip. Great view of the surroundings from our room. A bit expensive but you can understand why...

This was the most expensive hotel on our trip (including a suite with a full kitchen in whistler) and was not worth it at all. I would recommend driving the rest of the way to Jasper instead. The food at the restaurant was not great and also expensive and there is only one option.

Yes it is a lovely property but limited in services. Because it is attached to the same building as the tourist attractions in the area it is not relaxing to arrive in a hub of huge crowds waiting in lines to get to the Glacier Tours. The lobby is in the tourist building but once in the lobby you are...

Expensive hotel but worth it. We chose this hotel as we wanted to cut on travel time as we were driving all the way to Banff. We had amazing views directly from our window overlooking the glacier. Highly recommend if you want to experience it for first time.
