We stayed the September long weekend in an Executive Miette Cabin. As a family of 4, this offered the perfect sleeping arrangement for us with 2 bedrooms, each with a king bed upstairs. Overall, our cabin was cute, cozy and clean. The blinds hadn't been dusted in sometime, but we chose to overlook due to the possibility of staff shortages with covid? The kitchen was just OK with being "fully equipped". We were quite surprised to have paper plates, plastic cutlery sets, plastic drinking glasses and paper cups for coffee. Not sure the reasons for the disposable options, what's the point of the dishwasher?

I had hoped it would have been more sound proofed given it's location directly on the highway. Earplugs did the trick at night, but we couldn't really enjoy our time on the balcony as it was quite loud with the traffic.

We did use the pool a couple of times and the kids seemed to enjoy it. There is a small hot tub on site as well with the option to book 30 minute time slots. We found that gave us more than enough time.

The convenience store didn't really offer a lot of anything, but we did enjoy our time in the games room. The 3 staff members that we did interact with were pleasant and no complaints there.

I have wanted to stay at these cabins for as long as I can remember. I can cross it off my bucket list now, but we won't be heading back there anytime soon.

Lovely well kept cabins approximately 45 km outside the town of Jasper. Check in was very quick and we proceeded to our cabin. We were in the executive cabin which consisted of one bedroom with king size bed. The bed was very comfortable with white linen. There were two tvs. One in the living room and one in the bedroom. We prepared our own meals and found the kitchen well equipped. We took advantage of using the bar b que to cook a steak. Beautiful scenery from our cabin window. Check out was easy as we just had to phone the front desk to let them know we were leaving. The living room had a fireplace but had a very low difficult to see flame. I would book Pocahontas Cabins for a future visit.

My wife and I stayed at Pochahontas cabins in Dec 2020. Covid precautions were in place. While the unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable we were disappointed in minimal amenities given the price of the 'cabin room'. The quarters were cramped and the furnishings a tad worn.

My family and I came to visit for only one night. My list of complaints is longer than the dictionary. Half the lamps do not work, bugs (dead and alive), crumbs of random foods under our mattress, stains on the sheets, horrible smell, loud sounds, and bad interior designing, I tried to open the couch mattress the table was right in front of it! Both my sister and I slept with our masks on. Very dirty. On the door there is a list of promises that specifically say “All bed linens, and towels have been washed between stays” I refuse to believe this. We checked for bed bugs, thank goodness we didn't find any. We cleaned the mattress our selves, and gladly we had brought our own sheets. I do not recommend a stay at this place, however it is completely up to you.

Way over priced for what you get staying here, which many reviewers have stated. We were in a lodge 1 bed and the room was large enough but amenities were low end. The room was dirty and dated and had mold on the bathroom walls and ceiling. Unfortunately our room was at the end of the building along the road but it wasn't the road noise that was a problem, it was that the staff smoking area was right outside the windows. It was hot when we stayed there and we had the windows open. This allowed the smoke smell to fill our room every time staff had a smoke break. If you want to charge $500 CAD a night for a room, make sure it is clean and provide value for the $$...you can't keep using COVID as an excuse for providing substandard service and accommodations.

I have wanted to stay at this property for years. Finally got the opportunity and am gravely disappointed. Urine stained rug on main floor near fireplace, non-matching dishes, carpet through the main floor including the kitchen and the layout of the room for the five of us is horrible. AND it isn’t a cabin! We are staying in “a lodge”. No privacy and lots of noise. Facing a noisy pool. Don’t expect to sleep. Oh, have I mentioned the highway is less than 8 steps away? Argh. What a let-down! Save your money... this place is a dive. We stayed the past two nights at Jasper East Cabins and would recommend you stay there.

Cabins are not as advertised. We got put in the older cabins nowhere pictured on the website. Absolutely discussing. Stains on the carpet, gaps in the window seals and door seals bug guts all over the walls and ceiling. I asked to be moved and they would not move us to a newer cabin. (Even though some Appeared available). Mosquitoes were so bad I asked for tape to seal the windows and doors. Cost 38$ for bug spray and candles from the gift shop. No ac so had the windows opened but could not sleep because of the highway 40 feet away from my door.

I read reviews on this place & find it hard to believe some of these people actually stayed here! There are very nice newer cabins & very terrible old cabins. We rented 2 new & 1 older for a family gathering so was able to compare. Newer ones very nice but very, very pricey. The older one is a dump. Stained carpets, bathroom so small you practically have to back in. Old fridge & microwave. Hot plate & coffee pot are only other kitchen items. Absolutely no sun. Always in shade.
No housekeeping & no a/c as is advertised. Wifi very weak so forget downloading anything. Bedroom had about 1 foot space around bed. Only good part: bed comfy & quilt warm (thankfully as no extra blankets!). There is a pool but hot tub not open & restaurant not open due to COVID. Should have had reduced rates because of that but nope. Way too far from Jasper & whoever said there was a view of the river was not correct. Not sure at all what the attraction is. I have written over 200 reviews & rarely have I been so upset. This place is not advertised correctly at all. Do not waste your time or money on it.

We have driven past Pocahontas Cabins for years and decided to book. We booked a cabin for 4 for one night (Oct 9). We were showing the mountains to friends and wanted to show them a highly rated accommodation. What a disappointment. The cabin we got was old and worn, not one of the newer ones. This cabin had a a double bed and a pull out couch. The couch was cottage grade. The pull out bed would not stay open. We4 had to sleep at the opposite end to keep it open. The mattress was as lumpy as a gravel road. The kitchen table was wobbly, the kitchenette was not suitable to cook a simple meal. The shower head was gross. It hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The tub would not empty. There was no way you could stay there for more than one night. There was NO comfort at all. The cost was the same as one of the newer cottages. We were extremely disappointed. When we checked out, we told them. All that was said was that they would let the Manager know. I expect some kind of refund. We will never stay there again.

This was a last minute getaway. The only cabin they had left for 4 of us was the Executive Cabin and we loved it. It had 2 comfortable king beds, each in it's own bedroom upstairs. Check in was great. Arianna happened to be from the same city in Ontario, as my husband. She was very knowledgeable about the resort and the area in general, especially when we asked her about bears. (Unfortunately we didn't see any there). Our cabin was like a little house. Love the log style throughout. It had a livingroom with couch and chair, kitchen with fridge, microwave, small stove and dishwasher. Dinnerware and utensils were also there. A bathroom with sink and toilet downstairs and a shower, toilet and sink upstairs. Ours was a recently renovated cabin. There was also a nice deck at the front and a nice balcony off of our bedroom. The pool area was great and the hottub was hot! We didn't use the campfire or BBQ. One night certainly was not enough! The next night when we got home, my son realized he'd left his BOSE earbuds in his room. I called the front desk, they located it the next day and will be sending it back to us. My son was so relieved! We would definitely return.

Hi, there is coffee/tea station and small shop, but when we were there, there was no restaurant open. Some cabins have kitchenette, some only kettle and microwave. But everybody has access to BBQ, so do your shopping before arrival and enjoy outdoor cooking
