It's an older hotel but renovated. There are no vending machines in the hotel so make sure you bring your own snacks. Ice machines were only on every other floor. There is no smoking anywhere in the building or property. There is no gym or pool. They do have a restaurant and continental breakfast. There is only a narrow side...

We stayed on New Years Eve after watching the Oilers game at Rogers Place, which is walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is in a prime location so the potential for them to charge a lot is certainly there and I wouldn't mind paying for the location and convenience…..if I felt I got my monies worth. Unfortunately, we did...

Spent the evening at this location for New Year’s Eve, but was disappointed with the outcome. Before a recent relocation, I spent many business trip stays at the Vancouver Sutton Place. With that in mind, I suggested that we give the Edmonton Sutton Place a chance, as I had usually been happy with my stays at their sister property. Well,...

I stayed here for one night while having to work a volunteer shift at the Rogers Place Casino. Room was very comfortable, clean and had everything a person needed. My bed was great and it was quite comfortable. Staff were friendly. This place get a bad rap for being outdated and old. There is a lot to be said for...

I stayed here two nights for work. The room was large and well appointed. The king bed was very comfortable. I really loved the addition of the chaise lounge. Very comfortable for lounging, reading or watching TV. The room had S small fridge, a nice and, in my opinion, necessary item in a room. There was a coffee maker in...

Nice old place, staff were wonderful, Chops restaurant and bar were suitable. Property is pretty dated, several broken fixtures in the bathroom, towel racks broken etc. Parking is a nightmare so pull up front and use the valet parking if you can get into the three spots available out front to go in and register. Perfect for attending Rogers Place...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. This hotel needs some love. Was not impressed with the overall atmosphere and amenities for a downtown hotel. Time for an update and amenity boost. For example, Shower was hard to use and control temperature and pressure. Sink pressure is also hard to regulate and made a mess. Business centre is terrible. The only real perk is its connection to...

I went on a business trip for one night in Edmonton and chose The Sutton Place Hotel for the location. The person at reception was friendly enough. The building itself is older. The hallway to the room smelled like cigarette smoke but the room did not. The beds were comfortable and the shower / bathroom was clean. I would have...

This place is nasty. There were dirty socks on the floor, mysterious white stains on the bedding and black mold in the air conditioning vent. I've stayed at the Sutton Place in Vancouver and it was beautiful, but don't let the name fool you, this place is a dump.

Was very expensive for a single person, although I was travelling on business. The room was very spacious which was nice, and everything was clean.
