Room that I stayed in was a bit dated but clean. The buffet breakfast was $22 but had a good variety of breakfast items. The conference rooms were small and hard to regulate the heat but staff were friendly and is a good place to stay overall for downtown Edmonton.

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was in a good location. It is a short taxi ride to the Roger's Arena and it is right across from the Kingsway mall. The food was great in the lounge and breakfast is included although we did not try it. There is an additional sink outside the bathroom which is nice...

I was here for business travel and made a mistake booking this hotel. I needed somewhere close to Royal Alexandra and was in a hurry. I thought it was 3.5 stars but really it's about a 1.5 star in terms of upkeep and appearance. There was something disconcerting about it; the rundown hallways, stucco walls and faux chateau features mixed...

The Chateau Louis was very clean and quiet during our mid week stay in July 2016. We had a very nice dinner and a wonderful breakfast the next morning, before resuming our mini vacation. The staff were excellent and the location (near the Yellowhead highway) was ideal for our early morning getaway to Jasper National Park. Had a great stay...

We have travelled to Edmonton many times in the last few years for family reasons. We were looking for a hotel close to the Royal Alex Hospital and the Chateau Louis fit the bill perfectly. It was a short 5-6 minute drive to the hospital. The hotel included parking at the back of the building with a door to access...

Was just at Sunday brunch celebrating a family member's milestone birthday. About 25 of us, Service was good. Food was good. Nice selection. And if you like meat you will be happy as there was beef, chicken, breaded cod, salmon, seafood. Desserts yummy as well. Perfect for a family gathering. --Karallee

The Chateau is centrally located, well maintained, has all the amenities the guest might want, prices are competitive, quite reasonable. The rooms are of a good size, attention to detail, like usb charging ports build into the lamp, and thermostats that work. Parking convenient for guests and visitors. Very courteous staff, layout of building good. Would happily stat there agin.
