We stayed in Sheraton for 2 nights last weekend. Location is great! Easy to Find free street parking for over night! Room is ok, not so big, but good enough! Kids like the pool very much! Staff are nice and friendly! Especially thanks the staff,...More
Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night. It was the start of Stampede week, and it was decorated with a cowboy theme. It was great! The hotel was very busy, yet we were able to get the room we wanted on the Club Floor. We...More

Thank you jlkkshic for taking the time to leave a review. I am glad that your trip, while short, was wonderful. Our Sheraton Club Floors are a wonderful, elevated experience and I am happy to hear that you were able to experience some of the...More
Spent a long weekend in Calgary and stayed at the Sheraton because it was close to my husband's meetings and centrally located. (We went to the zoo) Service was excellent. Used the valet service for our car which was very convenient. Rooms were quiet and...More
I honestly couldn’t think of anything negative to say about this place. Big rooms... great pool with a water slide. Neat neighbourhood with lots to walk to. We only spent one quick night here but I don’t have a single complaint. I would definitely stay...More
From reservation through to checkout, the service was outstanding. Mauricio at reservations, Eroll, David and Aarti at the front desk, Thanh, Sion and Joyce at the club lounge, made sure that this was the one place we would change nothing and always return. The gentleman...More

Hi, Depending what time of year you are in Calgary, there are all kinds of attractions! Not likely any challenging hiking in downtown, but lots of great walks including Prince's Island Park and a scenic walk to the Zoo at St.George's island. Biking, rollerblading along the River path goes from downtown to Bowmont Park in the Northwest or all the way to Chestermere Lake in the Southeast. In the winter, lots of indoor attractions including shopping in The Core, the Calgary Tower, even the Zoo which has plenty of indoor exhibits to keep you warm. This would be an excellent location if you came in July for the Calgary Stampede as the Light rail train is 2 stops from the fair-grounds.
This is a high end hotel with all the comfort amenities like A/C, downtown views, valet underground parking and restaurants.

Just like some of the others commented...yes there is other parking (literally across the street from the hotel) but yes you have to pay. You can also park on the street and if you are up for getting up early (like by 7am) you may be able to play that game of less $$ but you need to be on top of things. Valet and self are both really good options however.
