Hughe's house offers a very pleasant home-like environment. The house is lovely, with an excellent location, a short walk from downtown. The rooms have been recently renovated and are clean. The breakfast good and healty. Kelly, the owner is not only wellcoming, friendly and helpful, but also interested in your life and experience. And his dog Blanco ..a real nice...

Great B&B - friendly host, clean rooms, delicious breakfasts. Made to feel very welcome and it's a very sociable place where you can relax and chat with other guests and Kelly if you wish. Walking distance to city centre. Would recommend to friends.

If you love the perfect B&B, with everything in its perfect place, this is not the place for you. If you feel more comfortable in a home-like environment, you could not do better than Hughes House. Kelly, the owner, and Blanco, the dog (I just may have fallen in love with the latter) are both warm and quirky enough to...

Kelly is personable and a good host. The house is lovely as was the room. The room still needs some finishing, however it does not distract from the stay. Kelly's breakfast were lovely. I nice amount and well thought out for versatility. Blanco however was even more personable than Kelly, Very friendly and very well behaved lovable host dog. The...

Kelly, the owner, is accomodating and pleasant in manner. This 1914 house with it's ongoing restoration is easy to find in the heart of Calgary. The rooms as one would expect in such an older, Victorian home are on the smaller side but spotlessly clean as are the bathrooms. The heart healthy breakfast Kelly served was gratefully received as the...

We were coming back to Calgary for 10 days from Cuenca, Ecuador and made a decision to try a BB. Kelly made us feel right at home and our room was great, also Blanca his cute West Highland terrier made us not miss our dogs while we were away. It is so well located with some of the finest dining...

Stayed at Hughes House while in Calgary on business. Easy to find and great location. Kelly was a superb host and I was able to meet some great people from many different parts of the world. Bed was good and it was quiet for sleeping. Would not hesitate to stay again if I needed to. Thanks Kathy from Drayton Valley

My husband and I needed a place to stay while our bedroom floor was being repaired. With only a few hours to make what was an immediate decision, we found Hughes' House. And a great find it was. Kelly is charming and welcoming. We had access to our own kitchen, so only ate breakfast twice during our week stay. The...
