I've never stayed in a lodge in the back country before, and knew exactly what I was getting myself into. After a beautiful 11km hike to Skoki, we arrived to some welcoming snacks, tea and coffee. The food was spectacular, such a great job done by the kitchen staff. It feels like a real family experience. Everyone was very friendly...

Skoki is everything that everyone says it is. Historic, charming, off-grid (and off-line) with fantastic staff and food. Huge meals, communal, candle-lit dining, cozy common area with a wood-stove in the main lodge - Skoki truly is a gem in the Canadian Rockies. I can't wait to go back and judging by how many repeat visitors were present when we...

I have been to Skoki Lodge many times and I keep coming back. If you enjoy cross country skiing, this is THE place to go in wintertime. I have also visited the lodge in summer for some great hiking. The log lodge was built in the 1930 and has so much character; the old photos on the walls make you...

You have to ski or hike 11km to experience the historic Skoki Lodge, and it is well worth the effort (and cost). Beautiful old log lodge and cabins, no power or inside plumbing, but an amazing location, very compitant staff and excellent food.

Skoki Lodge is a ski in Lodge, right around 11km's. We arrived to an amazing afternoon tea service with hot soup, cheese and fresh scones and a ton of baked goods. Our host Katie offered us a bottle of Chardonnay and we enjoyed our snacks with the sun on our faces out front of the Lodge. The ski was pretty...

We stayed in the Riverside Cabin. No power or running water at this lodge with outhouse. It's definitely a back country experience. Delicious food and friendly staff. Would definitely come again! We snowshoed in and it took us 4 hours and 40 minutes. De epitome Pass is a killer but so beautiful. We really lucked out on the weather.

Skoki is a magic place. The ski in had its moments (woo, that descent from Deception Pass!), but is well worth the effort. The staff, the food, the scenery, the company, even the comfy bed, were all fantastic. We used wider back country touring skis with three-pin bindings, which were a good choice. We had climbing skins but rarely used...

Ah Skoki. What a thrill. An fabulous adventure, coupled with excellent meals, outstanding hospitaliy and great company. How we got there - Skies Vs Snowshoes We snowshoed in and were the only non skiers. There was a variety of ski types used - alpine touring (robust boots and heel lock/unlock bindings), backcountry touring (BC-NNN with slightly wider metal edged skis)...

The service, food, and setting was amazing. My parents found it really difficult getting there, and our room was a bit small and crowded but overall it was a pretty crazy family bonding experience. There is no cell service but my brother and I coped by playing cards, reading our books and actually socializing. Helpful tips; -Go in the summer...
