Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Perfect location - just up the road from the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. You can walk to the lake or drive. We stayed in Wilson Cabin #4 - very clean and cozy. Comfortable bed, fireplace, kitchenette with microwave/mini fridge/coffeemaker/sink, television, shower, two bedside chairs . Staff very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend - would stay again in a heartbeat!!! **No restaurant on the property. Plenty within short drive.

A treasure of a spot in this super crowded area! Quiet, clean, caring staff, beautifully kept flowers all around! Comfortable cabins that are cozy and inviting! Our absolute go to place for a few days each year. Kudos to the wonderful owners and staff for having this place as an oasis for tourists!

Following a very nice stay in 2016 we returned to this lodge for two nights to do some hikes at Lake Louise. We booked the same room type (the Saddleback) and they appeared to have been renovated, making this stay even more pleasant than the first, although prices did go up noticeably. The suite has two spacious bedrooms separated by the washroom and a wet bar like space with a handy kitchen sink, microwave and coffee maker. It is spacious enough for a family of four.

I would recommend staying here as it is close to Lake Louise. They have trails that you walk along close to the rode, it takes around 20 minutes to get to the lake. We purchased a ticket for the bus to take us to both Lakes..but if you walk to Lake Louise you can jump on the bus anytime after showing them your staying at the Paradise Lodge and Bunglalows and your ticket. They also will let you park your car after checking out if you are going to the lake. The rooms are very nice and clean an had everything we needed. They had a patio table outside our door but was chilly to sit outside for us. All the staff were very friendly!!!

We stayed in one of the cute little cottages and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The cottage was comfortable and always warm and welcoming when we came back. The people were so friendly and brought champagne to the cabin after check in for our anniversary. Every day the cabin was tidied up when we would come back from hiking. Our favorite place we stayed on our trip. It was so quiet, peaceful and beautiful on the grounds! Thanks for sharing your beautiful facilities with us!

We stayed for 1 night in the Preferred Saddleback Suite (which has 2 separate bedrooms) and loved it! Wished we stayed longer. The best parts: 1) proximity to Lake Louise - we were there over a busy long weekend and there was no parking or shuttles available but we could easily walk 15 min to get to the lake; 2) the place is very charming and well taken care of; nice to see that the faucets, counter tops, sinks have all been updated. Sitting on the back porch was a great treat too. We would definitely stay here again.

This quiet oasis had all we needed for our two nights in Lake Louise: super friendly front desk and housekeeping staff who made special gestures to make us feel welcome and booked our lake shuttle for us. Adorable Wilson cabin was very clean with a comfortable bed, beautiful hardwood throughout, our own parking spot, and well designed trails to explore the immaculate grounds and mountain views nearby. Check in and check out were a breeze. Thank you for a perfect stay at the end of our Canadian vacation.

We love this place. Exceeded expectations. Rented a cabin for three nights, ver well decorated and updated with amenities. The people here are so friendly. And very close to many trail heads so you don’t need to move your car which is huge! Also quiet. We walked through the Château which was overwhelming with people and honestly would rather stay in our cabin anyway. So glad we found this place. Cannot say enough positive about it

We stayed here for 5 nights in a Mountain View room. The cleanliness of the facility is amazing. The beds are so comfortable and housekeeping was outstanding. The staff is very friendly and helpful also. I wish their standards of cleanliness were found everywhere! The only drawback was that our room faced the road so it could get noisy but cool enough to close the windows and not hear anything at all at night. Also you can walk a trail to Lake Louise very easily. It is a great place to stay.

Entire Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper area is overpriced and price gouging during prime summer is common so this property is quite expensive for what you get for your money. We stayed at this property for two nights. One night in a cabin and another in a regular lodge like room. Rooms were clean and the area fairly quiet. The mattresses badly need an update. The lodge is within walking distance to Lake Louise. In about 20 minutes you can get there. We were originally looking at the Fairmont Lake Louise and since our plans were last minute that was sold out. My suggestion is save your money and stay here instead. Fairmont and lake Louise while pretty are extremely overrated and commercialized. We also booked the Fairview limo to Lake Moraine. This was my favorite lake so book and go.
