We had an evening meal in the bar of this hotel. There is a choice of bar or restaurant in which to eat. They both have their own menus although we were allowed to choose from the restaurant menu if we wanted, although we found it to be rather expensive. It was a midweek evening and fairly busy.We both had some...

We knew when we booked in that the room was small and cozy. We didn't ear in any restaurants because they were expensive so ate at Bii Peyto's Cafe in the village--very good! We used the hot tub on the roof which was great--with snow coming down! They did have coffee downstairs in the morning but it wasn't mentioned that...

We stayed there over the thanksgiving weekend. The hotel is located close to Lake Louise. I made my reservation on the hotel website thinking it would be more cost effective and found that I was charged in US dollars instead of Canadian dollars and there was an expected $40 surcharge added on top of the bill. Go to a third...

I must admit I was not sure what to expect but I don't know why I worried, Yes its old and in need of a little upgrade but that didn't put us of. We found it very comfortable and quirky. The room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the little notes that the housekeeping staff would leave on our...

This won't be flattering. Let us begin by stating that they've nailed the rustic charm of a horror hotel look perfectly. I half expect skeletons stashed away in the vents...would explain the poor ventilation and runaway heating problems. They, hotel staff and owners, have funnelled their vast profits into flickering lights, creaking floorboards, hallway mirrors that serve no purpose and...

This was by far the worst hotel i stayed in during my trip to Canada. We had a long wait to check in and then they immediately tried to sell me an upgrade. I soon found out why. The double rooms are what anywhere else would call single rooms, small dingy and with the smallest hotel bed i have ever...

In all my travels I have not come across such an over estimated property as this. I realise that the location bumps up the price but that should not mean you don't have to bother. It stared poorly with the first room 308 which can only be described as serpents quarters in a Victorian house. The bathroom was the size...

I knew this hotel wasn't going to be in the Chateux Lake Louise standard, but I expected to have a lift to get up to the top floor. We were booked in to a Heritage Room which was very nice and spacious, with 2 double beds and a balcony and a nice bathroom, it had obviously been refurbished recently there...

If there was a 0 rating this is what this lodge would receive..They call this a heritage hotel as an excuse for what is really a dump. Rooms are small and dirty with a double bed that is only slightly bigger that a single We could not get our suitcases in the room so I opened my suitcase on the...

Loved this building with its history. There were many interesting old photos and artefacts to view. It was a five minute walk to Lake Louise which was fantastic and for this reason alone it is a great choice.
