Nice campground with simple services. We had to walk almost 20 minutes to the (only) shower building. Not that clean and very basic/old. The spot is perfect: in the middle of the forest and very quiet.

We stay in the hard sided campground. The tent campground has an electric fence around it for bears - the hard sided campground does not have a fence. Hybrid trailers are not allowed on this campground - unless the tent sides are closed! We did see a grizzly bear a campsite over. The bear ignored the paparazzi of campers taking...

We booked in advance to stay at this campground, we arrived fairly late, but our spot was really good. The electric fence made you feel a lot more safe from the bears and added some extra wilderness camping touch to our night, it was fairly close to the Banff village. We would come again.

The train noise is very loud, otherwise I would have rated this site as 4*. It is a basic RV campground, approx 10 mins from the Lake and 5 minutes from the village. We took a short stroll along the river, which was pretty. Bear activity apparently, but we didn't see any signs.

We just camped here in an Airstream. Here are a few things you should know if you are an American, driving up for the first time. First is gas up in the USA, prices are higher in Canada. Also gas is sold by the liter so $0.97 Canadian per liter is a little over $3.00 US per gallon. Second the...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a motor home. Perfect location for visiting Lake Louise and surrounding areas. Walking distance to the main village, which has everything you could need. We had electrical hook up which came as standard for RV's. They had a sani-dump and water fill points there too. Toilets and showers were kept clean and never...

Positive points: Very quiet. very clean. Nice place to camp. close to Lake Louise. It has good privacy and we enjoyed our stay. I suggest this campground to everyone planing to camp in around Lake Louise. You can start fire with a the purchase of a fire permit. Negative points: There are just so many mosquitoes and Godzilla bugs. Make...

the service on the campground are pretty good. The site is clean, the bathroom and shower are decent too. It's easy to access to your site and you have a lot of space for your car. overall it's pretty good.

This campground is quite nice for walking and for getting around to places, but the spaces are a bit odd where you get a double lot and share it with a total stranger that are camping just a few feet from you. I didn't like the set up but if it was family, it would have been wonderful. Also the...

We had noisy trains at the Tunnel Mountain RV campground in Banff so was looking forward to our stay here. The noise was even louder! The layout is a bit odd too. Two vehicles share a paved area with vehicles in the center and a picnic table for each on either side. It was okay for two nights. Clean and...
