We spent two lovely nights at Lynn and Ecki's cozy, clean B&B. Breakfast was delish, with gluten-free pancakes made to order! Even though the inn was full, it was quiet as a mouse in our room, and the bed and tub were just what we needed after long days snowshoeing! It's in a great location near downtown, and all the... I recently spent 10 nights staying with Lynn and Ecki as part of my ski holiday in Banff. I could not have wished for a better place to stay. The room was spacious, and in particular had comfortable arm chairs in which to relax with a coffee, check email (the WIFI worked well), or watch TV. The bathroom was spotless... More

We were there for a few days at the end of our trip out West last September 2014. The location in town was within walking distance to restaurants, and parking was provided. The home itself was beautifully clean, welcoming in all aspects, with a lovely breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend this option for stays in Banff.

Great staying in Banff! Lynn was just kind and treated us really well! Delicious breakfast and she made us a big favor to receive a big package before arriving there! Just perfect! Would definitely come back again.

On arriving we had a warm welcome and and were shown around by the owner. She was very warm, friendly and welcoming, yes she asks you not to wear outdoor shoes in the house but that isn't unreasonable, she also offered great advise on where to eat and what to do while we were in the area. There was another... More

We had a large room and bathroom with all facilities - and a mountain view! Lynne was extremely welcoming and gave us lots of useful advice. It was a very easy walk to centre of Banff. Easy onsite parking.

Mountain Home was a lovely, well-maintained and centrally located B&B. Lynne was a friendly, gracious, helpful hostess. Breakfasts were varied and consistently excellent. Off street parking behind the house was safe and convenient, if a bit tight. Parking must be entered from the alley behind the home. Another plus was the easy walk to the village core and to Highway... More

We'd been touring the Rockies for a couple of weeks and spent two nights at Mountain Home towards the end of our vacation. Check-in is from 5-6.30pm and we just happened to arrive on the dot of 5pm. The owner showed me to the booked room which was lovely and spacious. I mentioned that my wife had hurt her knee... More

This was my second visit to Banff, the first was last year when I stayed in a wonderful B&B Holiday Lodge. It was booked out this time so I had little choice left and I chose this one. I don't understand why someone who is clearly not happy running this place still does it. Where do I begin? Check in... More

The location was excellent! Walking distance to Banff Ave, the river and many other attractions. Off street parking was a bonus. The home is lovely and the rooms very nicely decorated. The bathroom lacked counter space for toiletries. It was hard to find an outlet for recharging devices without moving furniture or unplugging the TV. The breakfast was good but... More
