We had two nights here in August, staying in the Buffalo Mountain Room. This downstairs room is big, with a good sized bathroom. They ask that you leave your shoes in a cupboard in the front hallway (slippers are provided if you want). This was fine - but a little cramped if more than one couple were in there. Comfortable...

Room was so pretty and it SPARKLED with cleanliness. Had everything we needed, very cozy and romantic. Innkeeper made delicious breakfast, every detail in place. We asked for and got some directions, but she didn't really visit or offer conversation unless asked. Maybe she was giving us privacy. 2 blocks from all shopping and restaurants.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very happy we did. We stayed in one room two nights and another the next two nights). The beds, linens, pillows and bathrooms were fresh and very comfortable. Huge bathrooms with large tubs. Firm comfortable beds with fresh pillows and linen. The house is very well maintained. All utilities --water, heat, light,...

Having never been to Banff before and booking a place online you are always a little worried what you might get. We pulled into MountainHome which is in the middle of a residential street and were so relieved. It's a darling bed and breakfast run by Lynn and her husband. There are only 4 rooms and ours was the Norquay....

I guess I hadn't quite realized we'd be staying in somebody's house... Our room was not huge, but was nice and well appointed; however we never really felt at ease, there was always the feeling that we were intruding or somehow just being tolerated. It starts off with the requirement that you take your shoes off upon entering, which a...

We arrived to check in at 11.30. The owner, Lynne was very abrupt. No Goodmorning, instead she was quite annoyed with us. She pointed out to the sign saying check in is between 5.00 to 6.30. We asked her if we can leave our baggage. She asked us if we had a car. We said yes. She said So........ We...

We've stayed in more than 100 b & b's, so are probably more critical than most b & b reviewers. We spent two nights here. The location is great---on a quiet residential street, but only two short blocks from Banff's main shopping street, numerous restaurants, and attractions---all within walking distance. The house has its own parking in the rear, and...

Breakfast was excellent. It included yogurt and fresh fruit, cereal and milk and bread for toast every day PLUS a hot breakfast entry. All was delicious. Met nice people at breakfast (co-travelers) who were staying there. Owner was friendly and very helpful and accommodated our dietary needs. Bed was comfortable and room was large and the whole place was decorated...

Stayed here for 3 nights in early June. Location is ideal for easy access to Main Street in Banff. Room very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was a real treat with freshly cooked food, having breakfast with other guests is a real positive point meeting fellow travellers. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Husband surprised me with a getaway weekend in Banff and booked us at the Mountain Home B&B. Our room could not have been better! Super quiet, quite large, extremely comfortable bed and a wood burning fireplace. All of it was wonderfully decorated with beautiful antique pieces yet the bathroom was as modern and lovely as one would want. They also...
