250 dollars a night. It is filthy. A 1/2 inch of grime on the window sills. Carpet is disgusting. When someone near you showers or flushes a toilet it sounds like someone is attacking you. Excruciatingly hot even tho the thermostat is turned down. In the middle of checking us in, the receptionist decided to do a job interview! Absolutely... More

We enjoyed very much our stay at he Homestead Inn. Very central and quite comfortable. It also gave us access to an upper quality hotel for the spa, which we envoyed a lot. The employees are very helpful.

We stayed here recently and although the location is super convenient (very short walk to downtown), the rooms are quite outdated. They are spacious and clean though! Breakfast in their other hotel across the street is excellent and one can use the pool and gym over there. Reception staff is very friendly.

This is a property that is scheduled to be torn down next year, as far as I learned from the front front desk personnel. Thus, everything in it is left as is - you will not find luxurious fixtures, furniture, etc. The windows and tiles would have specks of dirt or calcium, respectively. There are discoloration spots on the carpet.... More

I needed a place to stay for a couple of days before starting a bike ride on the Tour Divide Route. the Homestead Inn was centrally located. The room was in very good shape and clean. Couldn't ask for much more.

We booked through bookings.com for 3 nights as the location was good. When we arrived at 9 pm at night, pouring rain and following a 10 hour bus ride, we were told that our booking had been cancelled as the credit card number supplied by Bookings.com had a wrong expiry. I explained that I had contacted the hotel a week... More

While motels can have kitschy charm, this one we found just to have old fashioned keys for the outdoor access only rooms, very dirty carpets, threadbare bed covers and the thinnest mastresses I've seen in a long time. But, that could all be overlooked, if it weren't for the lack of air circulation, and VERY nosy street and overhead stomping.... More

Nice place. Large room, great location and cozy beds but their room accessories (tv, air conditioning, etc) are in bad shape or are non existent. I think it offers you what you'd paid for, I'll give them a try

Pretty decent hotel in heart of Banff for under $80. Some maintenance issues, but nothing major. (Broken screen, loose tiles in entry) No air, but hey, this is Banff. Good wifi. Comfortable, clean. Blocks from restaurants, shops.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a road trip. I had read reviews on this site and was a little scared and thought about changing places. But for $139.00 for 2 nights - including taxes and the internet fee - we decided to take our chances. The hotel is definitely run down and dated. The outside hallways... More
