Not sure why all the negative reviews. Sure it was pricy but our two night stay in the Jacuzzi Suite was amazing. Beautiful mountain views surrounded our private balcony hot tub, lots of available firewood for the room, large window over looking the bedroom gave us blue sky and mountain views to wake us up. Complimentary transit tickets allowed us... More

Stayed for 2 nights with the family, walk in price was much higher than the internet price. Our room "131" was very cold and the heat didn't work, and was not fixed. Got no response to our complaints.

The hot tub was not working properly while we were there. The 1 bedroom unit that we stayed in was in definite need of refreshing and also was not particularly clean. We didn't like the fact there was a trace of dead bugs in the cutlery drawer and popcorn under the kitchen table! The staff, however, were friendly and helpful.

Pros: - nice hot tub and sauna - free wood and kindling for fire places - clean bathrooms - minimal but functional kitchen Cons: - extremely limited parking - weekend "party" atmosphere - dated furniture and interior. - Not terribly comfortable sitting area. - Wall paper was peeling off the walls and carpets were stained. - bedrooms felt cramped

Living area incredibly small for family of four. Sofa was in very poor condition. Stagged into the middle. No chairs. Firewood for fireplace was not seasoned. Damp, burned poorly, smoking. Ugh. Kitchen poorly stocked. No bowls for mixing. Beds were strange. Pads above mattresses slides all over. Would not go back.

We checked in on a Friday and left the next day. The Indian guy at reception was so rude and inappropriate that we felt like we couldn't ask for any directions, help or assistance, even though the other staff members were pleasant. We barely stayed so I can't really comment on the accommodations but I would never return to a... More

cthurts88, I'm sorry to read you felt the front desk staff ruined your weekend. All the staff do their best, and everything they can, to exceed our guests expectations 100% of the time. The particular staff member you've singled out is one of the most hospitable front desk agents we are fortunate to have working with us. I'm completely surprised... More

Hidden Ridge Resort is your basic ski shack style group accommodation in Banff. Nothing fancy, a little banged up, but great for groups. A group of us rented one of the condo style units, and we were able to comfortably sleep 6 people. Only major complaint is that the train tracks run adjacent to the resort and were sounding their... grkqt82, we're happy to read you enjoyed your stay with us during your ski getaway. The resort is actually not near the train tracks that run alongside the town of Banff. The trains are required to blow their horns repeatedly as they pass through the area to alert any animals that may be feeding near the tracks. The sound of... More

Stayed in one bedroom(2 beds) unit for 3 nights in early November. Room was adequately clean but had several(6-7) live houseflies when we checked in. This place seems to be broken down: Fridge regularly discharged pool of water onto the floor throughout or stay; fridge was missing 2 of 3 shelves(staff promptly replaced them taking, from the room next door);... paulhnielsen56, I'm sorry to read your stay was not so great. We have found that guests sometimes pack the fridge and freezer quite full with food and beverages which kicks the fridge into defrost mode. This mode at times causes the defrosted water to drip from the fridge, which may have been what happened with the fridge in your suite.... More

Nice rooms, great hot tub but it was cold on the second night. Lovely view from the pool though! Great staff and housekeeping! Wish the hotel was a little closer to Banff downtown but overall a wonderful stay, would recommend!

As the resort is slightly out of the downtown core of Banff, our guests get to enjoy the quietness and mountain scenery you don't get from hotels in town. We do provide complimentary transit passes to assist our guests getting in and out of town. We are... More

Had a relaxing 3 night stay in a 2 bedroom with loft condo. We found our room to be clean & comfortable. The Condo is spread over 3 floors so there are 2 flights of stairs if sleeping in the loft. Overall our group (4 adults 2 kids) had a lovely stay. The kitchen was handy but seating in the... More
