Wonderful spot. Clean pools, slides, tree house playground. Very well organized, grocery store and liquor store on site. Knowledgeable, courteous staff at front desk and throughout site. Husekeeping staff went above and beyond.

Stayed at the Douglas Fir for a Friday/Saturday night in January. What a great place to go with the family! Our one bedroom Condo was perfect for myself, wife and two kids. Murphy bed in the main room and separate bedroom for the kids to sleep in so we could stay up to watch TV and read. Condos have a...

Great location. Great facility. Rooms are super cool. Water slides and a play area with an onsite liquor store and a grocery store. What more could you want? We stayed there for a hockey tournament that must have included hundreds of 5 to 7 year olds and nobody ever complained about the noise or the kids running all over. Very...

Not the hotel I was expecting. The rooms were very tired- carpets very old and picture frames removed to display faded squares on the walls. Patio didn't lock. Waterslides are separate from the main pool- and its a very long walk- so going back and forth isn't really something you want to do. Outdoor pool was closed- can't comment on...

We spent 4 nights here with 3 other familes. 3 of the famiies booked the one bedroom loft condos and one booked the lodge studio. We had a fabulous stay! The loft condos are definitely dated and in need of some cosmetic upgrades but the rooms were spotless. We made great use of the complimentary bus passes to get to...

We have stayed here a ton of times. We keep coming back because of the play area and Waterpark. We always stay in the cabins that are outside of the hotel. They seem to be a "little" more updated, come with kitchens, have separate bedrooms and is less noisy. The inside of the hotel is outdated but has some nice...

We spent Christmas in Banff, and Douglas Fir was a great choice for our home while we were there. We chose one of the A frame chalets and (when it wasn't snowing hard) we had a view of the mountain through the fir trees. The cabin had everything that we could need, including a log fire, which we lit every...

Stayed in room 401- two beds upstairs, a Murphy bed downstairs. Nice layout, would be squishy for more than one family. Not too far of a drive to lake Louise for skiing. Room is close for access to water slide pool, kids playroom and swimming pool. It's above the parking garage so no noise from downstairs but close to stairs...
