For 2 nights my teenage son and I slept like babies (older, peaceful ones) in our beds of this 3rd level room... and when I wasn't sleeping I was thoroughly enjoying the vista of Rundle Mtn. It was surprisingly quiet each night, even though other rooms on that hall were occupied as well. Very clean, crisp room and beds. Everything...

We spent two nights at this hotel. We had King room and it was a little small. It was a little pricey but cheapest we could get. The front desk staff was helpful. My husband broke a tooth and they gave us a list of local dentists so we could get it fixed before continuing our trip. Overall it was...

We stayed here for a weekend as it was the cheapest option I could find on a busy Banff weekend. With 'you get what you pay for' in my mind I wasn't expecting much but I wasn't overly disappointed. The rooms were clean and pretty reasonable for the price point. The bad things about this hotel are parking and other...

Just had a fantastic stay here. Room was clean, a great view (3rd floor back of hotel) and for a great price! Young English guy at the front desk was professional, polite and very helpful. I'll be back for sure.

Weather on the trip south from Edmonton made us backtrack (slightly) to Calgary to make our way home via Banff instead of quicker entry into the US due south. After an arduous exit from Calgary coming from the south to Trans-Canada 1 we headed toward Banff, a heretofore barely recognized town name. Ah, the weather! We arrive in Banff to...

As per the other comments it's an old hotel. However, everything worked fine and was clean. It was a perfect stay for the weekend in Banff. 5 min walk from main Banff ave was also nice and the price was very reasonable. Only reasons I gave 4 stars is because the restaurant that is attached they were very rude. Asked...

I have been going to Banff, and staying at Irwin's, on and off, for many, many years. (Late '90s, yikes!) It's a outstanding example of that particular species of Banff Avenue 3 to 5 story hotels of a certain age, with the parking underground and, depending on the breaks, various states of ongoing renovation, depending on the timing. Mostly, at...

Our room with 2 beds was VERY roomy!! Nice street/mountain views. Only a 5-10 minute walk to downtown shopping. Wish they had a pool. Hot tub was small and very crowded with 8 people. Nice staff. Free underground parking. Elevator.

Laundry, gym, jacuzzi, ski storage area, vending machines for treats. Staff friendly and helpful, especially Jason on Reception. Had lovely Chatre Briannd in restaurant La Tosca in hotel.
