LOVED this campground. The spots are close together but you get a glorious view of the mountains. The campsite was immaculate - to keep the wild life away! The washrooms were well maintained. We LOVED the bus into Banff, we went in every day. I...More

We visited the Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground for four nights at the start of October. We were immediately impressed with how organised it all was. The site is run by Parks Canada who really know their stuff. The price we paid was really good...More

I've been coming here for decades. Very quiet and clean, and the sites are not too close together. They have loops where no fires are allowed which is a great benefit, so you don't get smoked out by other campers.

Very organized, well kept campground, extremely large spaces for RV's. Shuttle runs every 40 mins into town, and about a $20 Canadian for the ride back. When the rangers caution you about bears, believe what they say. We left an container of water out on...More

The campground is fine, washrooms a bit dated. But their directional signage is terrible as they use a font size you can not read unless you right in front of the sign on foot let alone in a vehicle. With no directional arrow to indicate...More

Hi Debra Where can we have a campfire. Half the fun of camping is a campfire. Thanks Deb

What's latest we can check in? And do the Banff gates close at night?

The gates don't close and if you get there too late you can go to your site and then check in the next morning, especially if you have a reservation.
