Went as a family for the first time. Got the buffet thinking it would be great. Hot food was cold. fruit had mold. Had to wait for meat to be cut as the cook/chef was not there to serve as they should when customers are at the buffet. Will never return.

We had to stay here because we were cycling from Banff to Jasper and there is no other place. If you come prepared for the "sticker shock" you'll do fine. A six pack of beer was $20. Wine was a little cheaper. The little deck off our room was a nice place to relax and sip the expensive drinks. They...

Budget accommodation options in this area are extremely limited, unless you want to camp. This is an isolated position, half way Jasper-Banff. Based on that, and the distinct lack of competition, I think they're entitled to ask for a bit of a premium. Some of the prices do make you gulp, but it's no where near as bad as some...

This is the second time that I have stayed at this resort. What an amazing and authentic place to stay. Great location with very friendly folks working here. Great rooms looking at the mountains. Uninique pub where you cook your own steaks or burgers on a grill with charcoal that is inside the pub. Amazing view from the patio looking...

We stayed here simply for convenience sake to break up the journey from Jasper to Banff. The room we had was dated and in need of upgrading; furthermore I would have expected wooden floors rather than a carpet especially with skiers in and out with their equipment in the winter months. Note, you pay extra for a view of the...

Overpriced and disgusting food. Fish and chips was probably the worst I have seen anywhere. Fish was cooked to point of being almost burnt but inside batter was still raw. Two of our party ordered the fish and chips and both could not eat it. I had tuna sandwich and it was OK but at $10 too pricey. Never again...

A decent stopping spot for those heading up or down the Icefields Parkway. It is very convenient for many of the stops you may want to make going to or from Banff. The rooms are small, simple and clean. The restaurant, however, should be avoided as the food is, at best, mediocre while the service moves as slow as the...

Location perfect for tourists in the Rockies, however very expensive. Breakfast not included, also expensive, and supper was expensive and not that great. I guess you could say that the views, the room and the location made up for the expense. No cell phone signals, pay phones didn't work that day, so extra paid to get Wifi here, Lovely place...

This is half way between Banff and Jasper. After this point towards Jasper its difficult to find a decent place to eat or other conveniences. They have accommodation, Cafe, Gas, Pub etc here. Also after this point there are no petrol stations right up to Jasper. Most important if you are headed for the Columbia Ice fields, please for heaven...
