Stayed for three nights in mid October, beautiful area and fabulous weather. Manuel the owner is the most attentive and kind host he caters for your every need. On our journey to the Auberge my husband had lost his wallet - so Manuel accompanied him to the police station to sort it out - and we'd only just met him.... More

Husband and I stayed here as a base for touring the area. Our room was very comfortable, tastefully designed and adequately appointed. Free parking, free wifi and a restaurant below makes this hotel perfect for an overnight stay. For longer stays, the rooms are comfortable enough but strongly recommend you check the restaurant menu first. Limited choices, extremely so if... More

We stayed at L 'Auberge twice in two weeks, on the way to and from holiday. On both occassions we were treated to excellent food, served by lovely people who welcomed us as if we were old customers. The Bistro Menu of three courses for 21 euros was beautifully cooked and imagined and the half litre of Rose was very... More

Firstly my apologies for not submitting a review earlier. I chose this hotel through a combination of Logis De France and TA and all the ratings were correct. Not far from Reims and Laon in the countryside, nice room and a Chef Patron who cooks fantastic food. We shall be back but maybe avoid the Hot Tub!!

Only 2 and a half hour's easy-peasy drive from/to Calais, this is the perfect place for a first - or in our case, final - night of a French holiday. We're so delighted to have found it and know it will be our go-to place for this purpose from now on. We had a large and attractively-decorated room (called Factory... More

Friendly, quiet and good food. Small family run ....quirky rooms....good service. Situated in the area of historic war battles with lovely rolling countryside and only 3 hours from Calais. Food value excellent.

This is a charming little Logis just south of Laon. A 2.5 hour drive from Calais we broke our journey south. Primarily a restaurant it has just 4 rooms. Ours was at the top of the house, named Romantique, so its decor relied on black and white with some chandelier fittings - but quite subtle thankfully. The room was spacious... More

travelling to the south of France from the UK with my partner, we found this through the Logis guide. the rooms are eclectic ( in a good way) on a quite street 2.5 hrs from Calais. The food was superb! My partner was thrilled to discover new meals such as sweetbreads.( and loved them) What really makes the place is... More

We were due to stay here as an overnight stop between Austria and the tunnel and were unable to due to family circumstances - so on the way past we went to the hotel to explain. Luck sometimes puts us in the right place! We are travelling home from Switzerland, taking the midday ferry tomorrow - the location is perfect. We can endorse everything which Margaret W, JM and Michael T said in their reviews. We enjoyed everything about our stay (including Chris Froome winning Stage 8 of the Tour as we relaxed after our arrival).... More
