Once again we returned to visit the wonderfully welcoming and incredibly beautiful Norburton Hall. Just driving through the gates feels like coming home. This time we stayed in the Stables and our children slept in our room on blow up beds. We usually stay in the 2 bed Shippen but there was more than enough space to fit us in....

Finding the simply named Gardener's Cottage was easy but it really does not do the excellent accommodation justice! It did however give a clue to the wonderful surrounding gardens which have plenty to interest and amuse everyone both young and old let alone admiring this excellent example of an Arts and Crafts house. We were a mixed family party and...

Stayed in The Stables, Norburton Hall, for four nights and found it to be an excellent base for exploring the Dorset coastline between Weymouth and Lyme Regis. Open plan kitchen and lounge area was welcoming and clean, very spacious and well equipped for cooking. Sofa bed was very comfortable at the end of each day as a sofa and as...

Ideal 'home away from home' from which to experience the best of Dorset and just relax - peaceful environment in lovely grounds with the atmospheric backdrop of the Hall itself. Easy walk through the village to Hive Beach with lots of great places to eat nearby. Great for coast lovers. We stayed in the Stables but got to view some...

We had a celebratory family weekend for eight in the Gardener's Cottage in March. The cottage was very comfortable and warm and the kitchen extremely well equipped, much to the delight of one of our company who is a professional chef and prepared two dinners there. Karen gave us lots of useful information and was very helpful, even to the...

We booked 4 nights in February and The Stables were a perfect hideaway. Karen provided a wonderful welcome and spent time giving us every possible piece of information about the accommodation and advice on the area. She also told us to 'ring the bell' if we required larger towels or anything else at all. We had no need to use...

Our family of 9 and 2 dogs spent a wonderful time in the Gardeners Cottage at Norburton Hall. This beautiful building is surrounded in the gorgeous countryside, with lovely walks to the beach in easy reach. Very clean, cosy and you immediately feel at home. Morrisons is in Bridport, which is only a 10min drive away, so no need to...

We have visited the hayloft with two different dogs and they have both enjoyed the countryside. The adults get R and R and of course always enjoy it. We have been about 7 times I think and never get bored staying at Norburton hall. We enjoy all the lovely walk and visits to the pubs for dinner. The Hayloft is...
