The host, Cathy, is extremely hospitable. You really feel like home here :) Well, what did we get: Comfortable rooms, bathroom (with bath!), tasty breakfast (and a loooot of coffee for owls :)) every morning in the dining room (we were also lucky to get fresh homemade pie!), books and TV for a rainy day, terrace with picturesque view for...

Nice place to stay and Petra and Hans are charming persons. It has the charm of a old castel. The location is perfect to visit cities and to walk to the differents Puys" in the area. The table d'hôtes is good and different every night.

An extremely warm welcome (in English and French) from Cathy and her lovely young daughter! The chateau is absolutely beautiful and the rooms equally so with real attention to detail (both in decoration and services provided). The breakfast was extremely good and nothing was too much trouble. This is a real "find" and a place to go back to again...

We spent our 10 year wedding anniversary here with our kids on the way from Switzerland to SW France and Cathy and Frank treated us to a delicious dinner complete with champagne. We have stayed here several times and each time the atmosphere has been unbelievably relaxing and friendly. The manor is gorgeous and our family suite was beautifully decorated...

Cathy and Frank were great hosts and we very much appreciated all of the help they gave us on my sons birthday. They not only gave him a present and card but Cathy also helped arrange something for us all to do on his birthday. We went on a Husky ride... which contrary to our idea of what this would...

My husband and I travelled around the south of France by rental car and had booked this location online because the price was right and it looked nice in pictures. We were blown away when we go there. The beautiful manor was the largest of the B&Bs we had stayed in, and Cathy, the co-owner, gave us the best room,...

This B&B is in a gorgeous chateau, tastefully renovated by the owners, it is set in the middle of the Auvergne countryside. There are many walks that can be done from the chateau and lots of places of interest to visit by car, we particularly enjoyed visiting the sedimented lava flow. It is a wonderful getaway retreat, even if you...

Not a good start with the room we booked months before being given to someone else. However this didn't detract from a wonderful location, a beautiful chateau and a welcoming host. Run by an English couple, Frank was more than welcoming with a glass of wine on arrival. His auberge (restaurant) suggestions for the two nights were excellent, he drove...

The suite of rooms, two bedrooms, bathroom, and separate w.c. was ideal for us four (father, mother daughter and grandson). The Auvergne countryside had us walking until we could walk no further and then we took to the local towns by car. We ate well at all meals, breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner. Our hosts were perfect. Their hospitality and humour...
