Sadly we found the chateau rather grubby and tired, and the food was extremely average; we left more than we ate on certain occasions. On the bright side, wine was freely flowing, it was good to meet the other guests and breakfast was probably the high point.

We were 3 couples (from UK and Australia) so we were accommodated not in the main chateau but in what was like our own private mini chateau with all the luxuries one needs. Fabulous chateau and food - breakfast out of gold rimmed quality teacups!! Sat around large table with hosts who had many interesting tales to tell. Wonderful experience...

A lovely castle with some interesting history within and the surrounding area, you will just have to visit to find out. The building and rooms do not dissapoint for sure. The service form Muriel and Pascal is fantastic, like being part of the family. You should have dinner here, the food is fantastic made all the better with the company of...

We stayed here as a group of friends on a motorcycle trip. Upon arrival I was impressed with the building and the very warm welcome from the hostess. She spoke English to us and tolerated our terrible French. We were escorted to our rooms, which were very quirky and comfortable. The building itself was magnificent. Our evening meal was taken...

Stayed over for just 1 night on our way to Puy de Fou. Hidden away in the French countryside with lovely sweeping views from our room. Very traditional interior - not modern but classic - you feel like you are truly sampling the proper French way of life. We opted to have dinner at the Chateau and French law stipulates...

This is the kind of enchanting ,small renaissance manor,on a square island with a square moat which features prominently in Denmark or Holland. Its more appealing here because the corpse-de-logis is on so a domestic scale and is and only one room deep. You enter through an arch capped by stone balls and enclosed by farm buildings. Its entire built...

A delightful way to spend an evening. Break your journey, share a delicious but relaxed meal around a beautifully set table in an old chateau, and have a comfortable night's rest. I definitely recommend you book in for dinner with your host & hostess and other guests. As well as interesting it is a lot of fun. If you can,...

Got there after an 8 hour drive from the South of France. If I'm honest the first impressions weren't great. There is scaffolding up and it takes from the appearance of the building. However once inside we were wowed by the place. The room was lovely and the Children had their own adjoining bedroom. Dinner was out of this world....

We've eaten in some of the best restaurants on several continents and this ranks amongst them. Muriel is an excellent hostess and Pascal is an incredible chef. Both have a passion for excellence and of all the dozens of restaurants and hotels I've commented on this ranks with the very best. Pascal's dinners are incredibly good and match several Michelin...
