Give this was a 5* we expected better. The service was quite shocking, it was over crowded and I was shocked having to que to use the toilet more like a motorway services. The swimming pool was more like florida swamps and it was not cleaned. The disable rooms were incomplete they had no support bars. We stayed there for...

We arrived at the RIU (3 couples aged 25-30) expecting a 4.5-5 star resort similar to our trips in other places like the Mayan Riviera, Cuba and Dominican Republic... unfortunately this resort does not offer the amenities, services, food or rooms that we had expected. Some of the issues: -restaurants are overcrowded -seem to cater to a lot of local...

We just returned from the Riu Jalisco. I have stayed at 3 other Riu's in Mexico and one common factor is the Noise. The hotels are built in a U shape and everything is accessible from this point and 50% of the rooms face onto this U. Firstly I have to say that you should be aware that Puerto Vallarta...

My boyfriend and I just got back from a 6-day vacation @ the Riu Jalisco in Puerto Vallarta (October 14-19th) and I must say that we were very disappointed in the resort. I will say that the resort employees were nice and helped us as much as they could. But it took us almost an hour 1/2 to check in...

We have just come back from a two week stay at the Hotel Rui Jalisco in Puerto Vallarta. This was the first time we have stayed at a Rui hotel, and it will definately be the last, the swimming pools were filthy dirty from three days into the first week, and remained like that the whole holiday, all the pool...

This hotel was wonderful, clean, extremely friendly staff. responsive to needs/wants. Very fun pool entertaminment. Lots of humor. ANYONE WHO DOES NOT LIKE THIS RESORT PROBABLY ISN'T HAPPY ANYWHERE!! This is in response to a review listed below. I think some of the comments people have made are rude and if they don't like mexicans they shouldn't go to MEXICO!...

Let me start by saying my husband and I are usually not fussy and we have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts all around Mexico. The Riu Jalisco was not impressive. Actually no where near a five star resort. I will say I'm suprised to see compliants from others about the food. The food is the one thing we thought was...

Recently (aug.31-sept. 7) my wife and I stayed at RIU Jalisco and had a very nice time! It was not very busy as this is the rainy season and the hottest time of year. That is ok because you want it hot for swimming and subathing! It rained the first 4 days we were there a little, mostly at night...

This hotel was wonderful! The property was beautifull. The food was excellent with the 5 restaurants. The rooms were large and very clean. The staff is very helpfull and happy. The beach was nicely set up and clean. The only thing was, when I went in September, it is the most humid time of the year. I would recommend to...
