I and a friend enjoyed a weekend quilting break here at rhe end of October. It met and exceeded my expectations. The setting, the rooms, the food and the sewing studio we had exclusive use of. Our hosts Allison and Mike made us feel welcome and their arrangements for Covid protection was excellent. Restrictions permitting we will be repaeting this experience early in 2021.

Mike and Alison are such amazing hosts. Every little detail was thought of like the emergency box with needle and thread and the honestly box with things you may have forgotten. Oh and the cake was so yummy and a proper tea pot was in the room! Our room was superb it had a king size bed, beautiful comfortable bedding so sumptuous I had an amazing 10hrs sleep! I felt like a new woman the next day! The room it’s self was large with lots of storage and a seating area with table which was lovely in the evening. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was a power shower which I loved! Lovely white towels and robes as well. I felt so relaxed in the b&b all covid things were put in place so you felt very safe. Breakfast was amazing! Everything was spot on and thought of,the table was in view of the beautiful gardens. All in all we had a fabulous stay we only stopped one night but I felt I had been away longer it was just what my husband and I needed. I can’t wait to return hopefully for a couple of nights next time.

Mike and Alison are excellent hosts, to the cheery greeting at the door to the very welcoming tea and home-made cake after a long journey. Their advice on the best places to visit were spot-on and I definitely recommend the trip to see the seals at Blakeney. The garden at The Old Bakery is a delight and they are fully deserving of the awards they have won especially the " Best Breakfast" award!
