Booked for Xmas week. Checked in on Xmas eve. Directed to M3 overlooking duck pond. Lovely. Unit sleeps 6. One double (with wardrobe, drawer units and dressing table) two single rooms (one in the small loft space) and sofa bed in lounge. Half size dishwasher a bonus but small fridge freezer limited. We spent 5 nights at Whitbarrow and had a most enjoyable time. The facilities in our house were good, with efficient heating and plenty of equipment for us to comfortably stay there. We preordered a cot and a high chair, which were ready waiting for our arrival, and when we discovered that our one wasn't working it was quickly repaired....

We stayed over new year with our 15 month old daughter and my parents, we stayed in a bowscale which was perfect for us and the added bonus of two bathrooms. Loved every minute of our stay, would highly recommend, the property was excellent and the facilities were too. We ate in the hotel for the New Years Eve and the food was 5star, the staff were so accommodating we will be retuning soon.

Good quality place but you should be aware that there is NOT wifi other than in the main hotel, so you will not get wifi in the houses / your accommodation unit, which is a drawback and not made clear on the website.
