We spent a weekend at Iron Kettle for a family wedding. The rooms are large, well kept, and the beds comfy. Towels, robes, TV, and most other amenities are provided. The place is quite large, and the grounds well kept. It is not necessary to say anything but 'delicious' regarding the food. Our stay was perfect and we can only...

Loved our stay here, clean and comfortable. The house itself is full of character and charm. The stair case in the entrance was original, made me feel back in time. Just a lovely home feel inside and out. The staff were great, food was local! Try the homemade jam! I liked having coffee in little cups with saucers too in...

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful Victorian house for a weekend in September with six friends. We had a really wonderful time. The friendly and helpful owner, Ben, is a chef and serves a delicious breakfast in the sun-filled enclosed porch. Ours included frittatas, homemade oatmeal, waffles, breads and homemade jams. The best, though, was dinner, which can...

Our experience was great. Bed was comfortable, quiet. Breakfast was awesome! Loved the way the old house was clean, well decorated and easy to get too. The service and conversation with Ben was interesting and worth every moment of time. We have since talked about going back one day soon.

The bed was very comfortable and I was pleased to have a private bath. Ben was welcoming and a charming host. His breakfasts were incredible and all made with local goods. The grounds...

great place, really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the bed was super comfortable, each room has its own bathroom with shower and the breakfast was awesome, there was enough variety at breakfast from fresh fruit, different types of breads, homemade jam from grandma and more and then all of a sudden Ben makes us each a huge roasted asparagus,...

We wanted to do a 2 day bike stay-cation in Essex County. We purposely mapped out our 200 km route on bike-friendly trails and quiet roads so that we could stay overnight at the Iron Kettle since we had heard such great reviews. Our expectations were met and exceeded. The location is perfect for cyclists who want to ride the...
