Don't listen to the reviews about a lot of walking unless you are extremely Lazy. The walk to the pools is amazing and through beautiful trees it took five minutes from our room. We read the reviews and found you should bring your own coffee because you are charged for extra coffee. Private Balcony was incredible, if you didn't want...

Views are to die for, and every room has an ocean view. you get nickel-and-dimed, though. You even get charged for the coffee you make in your room's coffee maker. Service was great and everyone is very friendly. clean and visually pleasing rooms. town is close and restaurants and shopping are also great. Prepare for a lot of fun and...

My husband & I just returned from a week here and it was glorious. Everything was very clean and the staff was beyond friendly and gracious! The adults-only pool was so relaxing with waterfalls to drown out any ambient noise ... the waiters there remembered us and our room # every day after the first. Don't miss the frozen margeritas!...

This was our 2nd trip to the Ixtapa/Zihua area and again we stayed at Las Brisas Ixtapa (on the "all-inclusive" plan option). It was pretty much the same as last time, so I will simply do the quick notes on the hotel (fyi, this is a hotel and not a "resort", so please compare it to similar hotels and not...

I told my wife last year we are done going to Mexico unless a really good deal came up at Las Brisas, Ixtapa. The deal came up in November thru Apple Vacations. The only thing we did not like was making connections thru Houston. Besides that, the vacation was perfecto. We visited the first week in December and it was...

My husband and I purchased a Luxury Link package for this resort which included, among other things: "Bottle of sparkling wine in room upon arrival"; "Buffet breakfast for two each morning"; "Dinner for two on one evening of your choice, served at choice of restaurant, including select bottle of wine"; "$50 dining credit". At check-in, although I presented the letter...

On Dec 8th I booked two nights for my wife and I. The reason I would not recommend this place is the terrible mold...

We got an incredible deal for our stay at Las Brisas through Jetsetter, which was the deciding factor in coming to Ixtapa. Our room was beautiful - Italian/Mexican minimalist mod - very chic! Disappearing patio doors opened to a large deck with a fabulous sunset view over Playa Hermosa and the sea beyond. A little separate sitting area between the...

I recently stayed in Ixtapa for Thanksgiving week here, felt abnormally quiet! Low season I guess. I felt that we were in and out of the hotel and never really bumped into anybody.
