We booked 2 apartments for 2 families on a recent trip to the Eastern Shore. What a great place! Clean, comfortable and spacious, with decks overlooking the water and ponies grazing on the grounds..truly a gem. Looking forward to another trip to the Eastern shore just to stay here and get away from it all.

It was a beautiful spot for a couples get away or two couples. It was quiet & just a perfect spot. I would recommend this place for a great get away. A great spot to walk & not far from Taylor Head for a hike or the beach. This is not a hotel but your own apartment get away.

My niece and I stayed with Brigitte for only one night on a two-week trip through Nova Scotia. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer as it was my favorite lodging experience on the trip. The photos on the website do not do justice to the apartment. I was a bit worried about the inside of the apartment...

Brigitte and her husband are gracious hosts, kind and respectful of their guests' privacy. The two apartments are located side-by-side (but still have a very private feel) on the second floor of a building separate from the hosts' home, and both have a large patio with a beautiful view on the bay. West Quoddy is a very quiet hamlet on...

Brigitte's is a perfect choice for self-catering accommodations on the Eastern Shore, or indeed anywhere in Nova Scotia. Our apartment was very clean and well designed, constructed, equipped and maintained, with high, sloping, chalet-style ceilings. The living room and balcony of our apartment looked out over a small, quiet harbour with views of the open ocean beyond (attached panoramic view)....

The pictures presented on this website are only a hint of the excellent and outstanding experience awaiting you should you select this location. Brigitte is a kind attentive host who has provided a wonderful facility to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed the raised balcony allowing us to see far into the horizon of the surrounding shoreline and the ocean. All our...

The apartment is very clean and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. A spacious balcony with access both from the living room and from the kitchen. And we think that children might really enjoy the sleeping loft. The setting is peaceful and pastoral, on a lovely bay. This is the perfect location for exploring the Eastern shore.

You cannot go wrong by staying here. It is in a scenic, peaceful place. It is immaculate and the grounds are lovely. The hostess is friendly, knowledgable, and a great cook! I have stayed here several times. You can walk the country roads or paddle the Harbour. Fishing boats come in about 1 kilometer from there and you can buy...

We are originally from this area, but didn't know Brigitte's apartments existed. When we arrived we were plesantly suprised how beautiful the apartment was , so clean and the view off the balcony was breath taking. Brigette and Fritz make you feel so welcome, we stayed with them for 5 weeks and got to know them quite well. We enjoyed...

This was our third stay at Brigitte´s and she had updated the apartments since our last stay. Brigitte is a very nice and accommodating person with a genuine love for what she is doing. She maintains her garden and houses beautifully. There is also a canoe for the guests to paddle on the beautiful cove. In nearby Sheet Harbour you...
